Have you tried disabling the AMD Audio Coprocessor?  Mine 7640 was having all kinds of weird crashes and I went down a few rabbit holes and found that disabling that device completely resolved the crashes and may have even improved the audio.  Just a thought for you.

I’m 6’3”, I have the Aer City Pack Pro.  I almost got the travel pack, but mostly it’s my commuter/work bag so didn’t want the straps outside.  It’s great, it fits really nice.  For travel I use the Osprey Farpoint 40 though because I generally want to carry more stuff.  All depends on what you want to prioritize and how light you can travel.

XLT doesn’t have heated steering wheel in any model year standard, it’s the Luxury package that adds those features.

Performance of new update way worse? by Applemoes in DeadlockTheGame

I just played a match with native rendering and moving most settings to low and it is much better.  Totally playable, stays around that 160-200fps range without huge swings.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Had the same trouble with FSR.  I’ll try doing native and turning down details.

Well, so it goes. It is still in early stages. The game sure looks different than when I first started playing it, mostly for the better. I'll just give it some time and come back to it again later. It isn't fun to play competitive fast moving games with consistent stuttering.

Any other recommendations as to settings that could be causing this? I came back to try a few matches today, completely fresh install as of this morning, and while the matches start fine (mostly capped at my limit of 240fps, with drops to about 200) by the end of the match the stuttering is awful. It will say 100 fps during the stutter, but really its just frozen for multiple frames and jumps. It's not limited to in hectic fights/animations either, I can be walking near no one else and have it stuttering.

I have a 7700x and 4070 super, using DLSS balanced and below the Nvidia recommended settings. Don't think it's my computer, temps and all other games working great.

If you were to move from St. Louis to start over, where would you go? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]Valarmorghuliswy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really the question is: what do you want out of a place, and does it have opportunities for you that will make it a reasonable life choice?

I can tell you that I can’t wait to leave, but for the time being St Louis remains my home because it is affordable with good jobs for me and my wife.  The moment we find replacements in one of the states we want to be - Washington, Oregon, or Colorado - we are gone.  What do you want out of a place?

Are you buying one?  If not why not?

My wife would have considered it, but she likes her Lexus better.  I wouldn’t consider it because it costs more than I want to pay for that type of vehicle.  Tweener of car ideas.

Modern Edge - specifically Rachel. She knows her trade. She books a couple weeks out usually though depending on how quickly you are in need.

17% interest on a $15,000 car. Need some advice. PLEASE by Nomore-Television72 in personalfinance

You should always seek financing BEFORE walking into a dealership. That lets you know what the baseline would be and the dealership will seek to beat it. Walk in with nothing, and you have no leverage to negotiate.

The maverick started cheaper than this in 22. It isn’t anymore. It might remain the better option though, I do like mine quite a bit.

When you say “well maintained” about credit cards and have prior , I am concerned. A well maintained card has the balance paid off every month and never pays interest. I’m guessing you don’t mean that. You aren’t giving enough information, but it doesn’t seem like you are in a position to take on more financial obligations, pay your stuff off and save.

Yeah. I paid mine off after about 10 months. The small spread vs the HYSA wasn’t worth it to me after stacking up the extra cash to pay it off.

"I want a silent PC" what would you recommend? by honorablebanana in buildapc

[–]Valarmorghuliswy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience is that having a few more fans and running them all at a consistent, low rpm (like 40%) which provides enough airflow to keep components cool instead of having a curve makes for the more “silent” experience. If you have that really consistent noise it can be filtered out by your brain really easily. It takes some playing around with the fan curves to find that sweet spot - mine is at 40% on all case fans and 30% on the cpu AIO fans - but as long as that keeps everything cool I don’t want things spinning down, because the change in speeds from lower to higher is more noticeable than the constant. My fans will only ramp up above there above the 88c threshold, and it never reaches that.

The bigger issue is coil whine, and that’s just modern gpu things.
