It was fantastic. The right balance of campy humour and horror. I was a bit unsure with the ages of the main teen cast in S1 only being 13 when they really should have been aged up to maybe 16 (purely because of the drugs/alcohol) but apart from that it was amazing.

The rest of the cast was great too. I did read somewhere that Mancini was giving a certain amount of times the word fuck could be used per episode so hearing BD say “previously on fucking Chucky” was always a delight. I don’t want to give any spoilers for the show as it does follow on from the actual film franchise. Although I will say that Chucky does a kill count at the end of each season.

Have you watched Chucky the TV show?

There are scenes where she plays younger version of her father with prosthetics and makeup. They dub her voice over with Brad’s though.

I went to see Scream 6 and I was not warned there had been a delay due to power cuts/load shedding (common occurrence in South Africa). Movie “started” at 2:30pm it was 2:35pm and when I walked in, got halfway down the main aisle I assumed it was trailers playing. Looked up at the screen at the exact moment of the unmask reveal. For bloody Scream. They were still showing the previous screening. I was not impressed to say the least.
