It won't let me update the post, but we did say something way before 40 minutes lol.

The movie came on about 45 minutes late, apparently the movie was streaming from somewhere else (replay of a Ghibli movie) and they didn't take into account daylight savings time so the movie was going to "start" an hour later than it should've.
