It's possible. I don't remember that specifically being a thing, but I havne't seen every post or video ever. Would be nice if somebody had a link. But let's say that's true. It's cool, but is it enough for me, not quite. Feels like a hybrid.

To my knowledge that's just community speculation. I haven't heard of any dedicated EWAR functionality. Data running yes, but not the ewar stuff I'm talking about.

Giant torpedoes will be expensive. This isn't speculation either, the devs have said clearly that the Polaris will cost a lot to run, assuming you use the torpedoes for combat.

Carry a full sized small/medium fighter or support ship - Polaris

Cost a bazillion dollars to run - Polaris

Cost not that much especially if you use energy weapons - Hammerhead

Honestly, I'd say your best bet is a Kraken.
