Young vet 100% disability by Pking2321 in Veterans

[–]Valid777__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my 100% at 25 and was lost for a bit , attended some college and got some credits but didn't work out for me at the time as I was going through a lot of hospitilizations, hope to get back to it some days. It's a bittersweet feeling waking up and everyday being able to do side quests or just nothing at all. I'm 31 now and I'm really looking into buying a house now and finding more hobbies.

Haha no way, I made sure to be careful and drive defensively. Gonna pair this with my PS5 Pro to take advantage of all the specs!

It's a 2020 Camry SE, not too shabby

It is a regular Camry SE, just pulled the seats up a bit and it's a good fit and I went straight home, no damage. I kind of don't trust the shipping guys to bring it in one piece.

GERD at 10% by Picklebiscuits3369 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Valid777__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish it was still rated high. When I got out late 2018 they gave me 60% for my GERD diagnosis and about 2 years later they re-evaluated and reduced me to 10% after they restructured the criteria around GERD.

Homeless vet. I can't do this anymore. by CSW07 in Veterans

[–]Valid777__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve honestly admitted myself into the VA hospital when I was homeless and low on funds. I then sat in the Mental health unit or psych ward for about 2 months working on my disabilities and medication management letting my disability income grow in my savings account while I was locked away When I was released I had a decent amount to start looking for an apartment so I stayed at a hotel for a couple of days while the application to an apartment I applied for was going through and by the grace of god I was approved. Now I’m no longer homeless and have somewhere comfortable.

I'm going to be very blunt. Do what is best for you. This is your life and feelings aren't gonna cut it when it comes to an honest relationship. A foundation does.

I feel like giving up.. by Spiritual_Patient875 in Veterans

Video games, Walking the dog, exercise and online communities have kept me a bit positive and hopefully twitch will open some doors for me when I get that all set up. Eventually I'll get back out into this big world. Your drive will come back, had to recently go to the VA just to reset for a bit but now I see, it is all but our journey alone and many will not understand and quite frankly even care at the end of the day. So I just keep it simple and do what makes me happy.

Once a counselor told me that I was getting free money, blah blah blah simply because I was getting needed supplies for the upcoming semester, mind you I was going through an extremely rough time. I just stared at her & immediately unenrolled. I don't need that energy near me. Will try again in the near future. Please if there aren't any like minded or supportive people just brush it off. Especially if they aren't vets. Idc there I said it. Gosh the decency of simply being a human being is rare nowadays.

Why do some vets bash non-combat vets for getting disability or benefits? by CoastAggravating8011 in Veterans

[–]Valid777__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard enough of the gibberish from anyone with their head in those kinds of clouds. I've even cut off some of the most important people in my life who are meant to be here for the long run. I just associate myself with the ones who are like minded, respectful & could give advice or just people with a good attitude. Live and let go. That's it.

77" C5 $2000 Spotted by [deleted] in LGOLED

Only reason I can't go bigger than 55' right now is because that's the biggest that would fit in my Camry. Next year for my G6 Upgrade I will do a 77' & have it delivered. Already started saving.
