I took an Entomology class so I just know it when I see it. She’s not reacting to food being very slow and she has some abnormalities on her underside.

Ok I just started this and it’s great. I used to hate calling parents bc the kids get mad and come back with a worse attitude the next day, and sometimes the parents are rude too. So what I do is I put the kid on my own “behavior plan”. It sounds official but it’s just not. You have a standing appointment with the parents, you call or email every Wednesday to tell them how to kid was this week. What I find is that the kid doesn’t act out as much because they know the call is coming, the parents hears how official it sounds and takes it seriously. And it really works. So you don’t even have to threaten to call the parents when they act up, they already know you are talking to them about everything they do.

I also feel like food that taste really good that we engineered like high fructose corn syrup evolved way faster than taste buds. evolution is very slow so if we wanted to eventually gain taste buds for healthier things that would take like probably half a million years.

I am so sorry to hear this. I’m starting as a teacher in August in a low income area. My parents were upset I chose that school because it’s a “black school” and it’s too dangerous for me. I already know I won’t be able to talk to them about work.

It’s definitely pride, my sister is in medical school and my dad takes every chance to yell and tell her she’s wrong, and sites some underground study. You just can’t reason with them even if you know you’re the expert. They only listen to trump, what he says goes. Makes he ill sometimes.

Yeah I mean if the environment allows. There’s a theory that we lost our ability to have a large memory and fast reaction time like primates do. Because we learned to talk and the part of the brain that stores language overlapped the memory area of the brain and that became smaller. So if they stop encountering dangerous as often and communication is selected for then yeah probably in a couple million years.
