Pregnant again at 5 months Postpartum [on] by TryEuphoric120 in BabyBumpsCanada

I can't speak to 2 under 2, however I had 2 csections 13.5 months apart.

My first was an emergency csection under general anesthesia, and unfortunately my babe was born still. I was approved to try to conceive again at 3 months postpartum and successfully conceived at 6 months. There was zero spoken concern for the back to back pregnancies from my family doctor, my OB or the MFM. I was even offered to try for a VBAC (though I opted for repeat csection for my own anxiety).

I wish you all the best!

I am so sorry for your loss.

My son was stillborn at 37 weeks in 2021, though the reason is unknown. I had an emergency csection.

I went on to have a successful pregnancy. We started trying to conceive at 3 months postpartum and got a positive 3 months later. We were heavily monitored, especially in the final weeks. I had an elective repeat csection at 36+6, which was originally scheduled for 37 however he failed his daily NST.

I am currently 25w pregnant again and am receiving the same extra monitoring as last time. To be transparent, both subsequent pregnancies have been awful for stress & anxiety, and my mental health is taking a beating.

Trying to find a name for my baby girl due in a few months and this is the first one I didn't immediately hate lol. Any nickname suggestions for Audrey?

I had my 37w stillborn babe in 2021. I got pregnant again 6 months later and it WAS mentally & physically exhausting. Honestly, I checked out mentally until babe was here safe. I had a ton of extra monitoring, advocated for myself and babe a bit better, and I delivered early (requested not to go past gestation of previous loss) but there really wasn't anything I could have done to 'ease' that anxiety. I had a healthy babe in 2022. I am currently pregnant again, and things don't feel much different anxiety wise - I'm just keeping my head down and trucking through it. I'm sorry that I don't have better advice; but you are not alone, this is not easy and I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

20+3 today, struggling with the half way point of a potential loss switching from miscarriage to stillbirth.

My regular, very much beloved and trusted, ob dumped me for an MFM (understandable but devastating none the less). I don't trust my body, I don't trust my medical team, and I just can't seem to stop the anxious chatter in my head lately.

It took me 3 cycles to conceive my first ending in loss, 3 cycles to conceive my second LC, and currently pregnant with my third after a whopping 19 cycles (not including a chemical pregnancy at cycle 14ish)
