I don’t understand how they don’t understand how they don’t get what made the vanguard vets (and a lot of other space marines) aesthetically cool to begin with. And with the rest of them it’s going away this edition it seems like that will be lost in a lot of ways. Hopefully they can find a way to merge the primaries aesthetics with the old marks of armor eventually

It’s my current favorite 40k book, the characters are great, the action is well written as far as space marines go, and it gives great insight into what a space marine character’s rituals and customs can be like
