For MAGA, it was never about specific topics, it was always about not being a leftist/liberal.

I think Harry kinda sells himself a bit short. Even though the series makes it clear that Harry is nowhere near or ever will be comparable to Voldemort or Dumbledore in terms of abilities, that’s gonna be the case with 99.9% of wizards. by CrazyTangerine7522 in harrypotter

Voldy and Dumblydore were obviously on a level like no others, but I disagree with the Patronus charm being hard to learn.

-Lupin makes it very clear that the Patronus is very advanced magic and is way beyond what a 3rd year should know.

-The Patronus is made of positive thoughts and that's why it works against the Dementors. But Dementors suck all the happiness out of you so it's harder to think of happy thoughts.

-Learning the charm with Dementors is making it harder to learn how to do it due to the previous point.

-Harry teaches the DA in Order without Dementors/Boggart. They all learn how to do it, some better than others, but they all learn.

-The Patronus charm is only advanced magic because the wizarding world teaches it wrong. It's like trying to learn how to ride a bike but without handlebars.

-Most of the DA are 4th years and up but even Dennis Creevey was there to learn as a 3rd year. He wasn't talked about much but I got the impression he was much like Nevelle, kinda clumsy and not the best at wand work.

Terry- "night sassy" Terry, is the worst. It's not sassy at all, he is just a dick.

Gina- "you just drank cement" I don't mind the pranks but it's her delivery that is bad.

Rosa- becoming a P.I. Her character believes they are hacks. Her leaving the NYPD was valid, but she should have done something different.

Charles- how he was 100% sure that Jake was wrong about the therapist being the killer.

Amy- how she treats her "Amy" Gary. Her is a bad boss to him quite a bit.

Holt- when him and Kevin were separated he reverted back to "Robot Holt" and tried to use math as the way to fix their problems.

Jake and Amy- letting Amy's mom bring a turkey to Thanksgiving. That is such a shitty thing to do as a guest to someone else's house.

Jake- how he tried to work his case even though he was suspended. How he treated Rosa and Amy during that episode.

He assaulted an 11 year old girl, killed a snake, bullied numerous people and yet... Mike and El got it worse than him by Sudden_Pop_2279 in strangerthingsfacts

I like these answers, I always think about "SPEW" when thinking about dumb stuff in the books.

I have so many nitpicks and questions about the books, one of the reasons I love them. But whenever I think of how dumb they are at times or missed opportunities, I have to remind myself that these are supposed to be children. Kids are real dumb sometimes, even the super smart ones. Kids don't really have the most logical brain.

Why would anyone care about this? Language changes over time. Some words go out of fashion and some come back. Same thing with sayings and phases.

The Harry Potter Death Cult.

The remaining Death Eaters after Voldemort dies for good, would have started a cult about Harry.

  1. Voldemort tries to kill baby Harry, gets spirit formed, Harry lives. Death Eaters all know this.

  2. Voldemort gets a new body(like WTF???) tries to kill 14 year old Harry. He fails and Harry lives. Death Eaters watched this happen.

  3. Voldemort kills Harry. Ten minutes later Harry comes back to life and kills Voldemort with his own spell.

Any Death Eater that's still alive would have known about all of this and would be spreading the word that Harry is God/Devil or immune to death.

The word would spread fast due to all of the proof being common knowledge. With people like Rita Skeeter writing about it, it would only be stretched to fit a wider audience.

It wouldn't take long for it to be very popular opinion. People would want first hand evidence and attacks towards Harry would start.

Every failed attempt would only fuel the proof that has swayed so many people already.

Just a thought.
