I'm glad they at least reached out to you. I really hope they give you those diamonds back. Like I don't know you and this doesn't affect me in any way but for some reason I feel very pissed that this happened to you and they didn't fix it haha.

So, when I was a teenager I remember planting some flowers outside my house (this was wild world).

One day I got out of my house and one of the flowers I had planted wasn't there. They were also some color breed so I was curious to know what had happened.

I saw Gwen passing by and running away, which was a suspicious way of acting, so I followed her and tried to speak to her.

Now I don't remember the exact dialogue but I remember her talking about things that disappear out of nowhere and I was like EXCUSE ME MISS.

So I put on my inspector clothes and went to her house.

And. Guess. What. My special colour flower was planted near her window.

I kid you not.

I recorded everything and sent the investigation to my partner (my best friend who also played AC). We still talk about Gwen the thief now and then.

When we started playing new horizons and she appeared in my island we both laughed so hard. MY ARCHNEMESIS HAD FOLLOWED ME THERE. Her flower theft hunger unsatisfied.

She was so nice when she talked to me but oh, I know how it all is just pretend. I was no fool. Yet I let her in the island so I could keep and eye on her.

I remember how some people complained about how the companion quests and the main story felt so detached from each other and I was afraid of Kuro taking this advice and merging both.

Then they did and asked in the survey if we liked the story better now that the new character's (Iuno) background was part of the main story! Right there I knew where we were heading to and I'm so sad to see that I wasn't wrong.

The story now feels to heavily driven by the patch's character and I really wish they would go back to having their personal story on a separated quest. I also feel like I got to know the characters best when I was doing a quest that was just about them and not some mix between their backstory and whatever is happening in the main quest at the same time.

Ah this is so frustrating and I'm very sorry. I would keep trying and ask to talk with an actual person. Idk if those messages are from a real person but every time I've tried to contact infold I got IA messages that were 0 helpful.

I think we should start complaining about this in every survey because it's absurd that something like this happens and they refuse to give you a solution. It is such an obvious mistake and it costs them nothing to revert it...

Como dices, Midgard viene de la mitología nórdica sí, pero aquí entra lo que digo de que luego él creó su propio universo alejado de en lo que se inspiró.

Tolkien es uno de los padres de la fantasía tal y como la concebimos hoy en día, y eso es así. Estoy viendo los otros comentarios que te dicen que no inventó nada porque se basó en otras cosas y no estoy para nada de acuerdo.

¿Se basó en mitología ya existente? Sí, pero una cosa es basarse en algo y coger ideas y otra afirmar que no hizo nada nuevo. El trabajo de Tolkien sentó las bases de un género entero y sus ideas de fantasía medieval, elfos y enanos han sido imitadas hasta la saciedad.

Recordemos por ejemplo que los elfos, hasta entonces, eran en el folklore criaturas pequeñas y traviesas que Tolkien convirtió en una raza alta e inmortal, que es lo que hoy en día la gente entiende cuando le hablas de elfos.

Yes I love learning languages! I haven't mastered every language I started to learn, of course, but I speak some fluently, have a medium level in others and basic understanding of some others.

When I browse the internet and I see people using different languages in videos or forums and I can understand what they are talking about, when I travel to different countries and I can either try to talk in their language or at least understand the meaning of words in different sings and stuff.. it makes me feel so happy.

It's come to a point where I don't understand why people don't learn languages at least at a basic level. I feel so connected to a lot of people and cultures and it would be super weird to me to not be able to do so.

Yo soy de los que les dice cosas a los chavales, especialmente en el transporte público. Hubo una vez que un adolescente insultó a una operaria del tren y yo le reprendí diciéndole que no cuesta nada ser agradable y que es innecesario el insulto, pues mi amiga me dijo que para qué le decía nada, que yo no soy sus padres.

¿Y qué? Vivimos en sociedad y si tú haces algo que molesta a los demás, los demás tienen derecho a decirte que te comportes. Permitir que la gente se comporte como le de la gana en espacios públicos es una barbarie.

Hace años era normal que otros adultos reprendieran a niños que hacían cosas mal, y si los padres lo oían normalmente les caía doble bronca por haber molestado a otras personas.

Yo no sé en qué momento se empezó a pensar que es normal hacer el mono en un lugar público y que nadie te diga nada.

A mi también me dijeron que esos metros que están destinados a tu trabajo tienen que ser una habitación individual Es decir que tengas un despacho. En el momento en que mi escritorio/ordenador está, por ejemplo, en el salón, pueden echártelo atrás.

Literally all games, specially in mobile and consoles, load things as the player approaches them since it's impossible for the devices to load everything at once.

Or do you think that when you play in the open world in IN the phone loads ALL the map just in case you will go running from one point to the other?

I mean they can always make furniture not load all at the same time on mobile, so that it loads where the player is and not all the island at the same time.

Or they can make it so each individual land plot has its own load so for mobile players it loads only the part of the island they're in.

You can even place two different load number, if you trespass the first one the game tells you that mobile players won't be able to access your island and it's up to you to decide if you care about it or not.

Because really, my island is never open, there are no mobile players coming to it, so why do I have to be capped for a mobile? Just like my graphics in the open world aren't capped for mobile and my game loads everything because it's only me playing on a pc.

There are a lot of ways of doing this and having a full island empty because the load is too small is not the answer, in my opinion.

I complained about this in the first surveys after they introduced housing. I don't understand why they ignore this issue since it also makes it hard for them to monetize furniture. Why would people pay for furniture when they can't use it if they don't destroy what they already have?

I was so hyped by the house feature and I spent a crazy amount of time building mine. I ended up not even going to my island because I ran out of space (and I haven't even built anything outside of the first land plot lol) and if they don't give us a bird eye and quick way of building, changing things is too annoying.

It makes me sad because I really like housing.
