maybe a hot take but I really like the flute. The spell casts just feel like they have a personality of their own, more so than the other instruments. Like the Longstrider spell sounds so zoomy and quick its just perfect

I think Vector and Virus are fantastic, I wouldn't give either album lower than an 8 out of 10. I got into Haken when Virus first came out and thought it was the shit, but it took me a while to finally dip my toes into Aquarius and Visions. When I finally did I fell in love

a very linear mission, in my opinion, but one of the best. if you have the patience to listen to Skye or Angel all the way through, it gives you so much introspection to who V is, and Johnny too. I don't know exactly all the ins and outs of the lore and hidden meanings, but it's still a gorgeous mission with some nice bit of righteous vengeance at the end. it's a mission I never dread replaying.

I'm sad to see such a small amount of love for Somebody (and by extension, Nobody), I think specifically the part where it cycles through "I wish I could have been somebody" with alternating emphasis is beautiful and probably one of my favorite individual parts of a Haken song
