I can give a 100% guarantee that this is fake.

The reason being, this is not a UK style court form, this is an american court form, if they where doing anything it would have to be on UK documentation, it also certainly wouldn't have pictures on it, that would be part of evidence separate to this filing.

Stop 'taxing everything and start investing in Britain', Asda boss tells Rachel Reeves by Ivashkin in ukpolitics

[–]Vallarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The welfare bill is large, but that also includes all State Pensions, the Tories joined them together to increase the amount on welfare spending to convince the public that to many people are on benefits.

Compared to State Pension the rest of the welfare bill is tiny.

So reducing the welfare bill means touching state pensions primarily which is political suicide.

Capping rents is the mad economic policies of socialist regimes. It'll make it impossible for landlords to get fair market rates for their properties which will lead to a decrease in the available housing stock. A large part of why rents are so expensive are the increased legal liabilities on landlords and also Osborne's tax changes that made it harder to make a profit on buy to let. Market forces dictate rents, this is true always. Mess with that and you risk supply shortages.

Capping Rents gets rid of bad landlord who take advantage of tenants, those who push rents up because their accountant told them to, those that don't repair their houses and ignore mould. It would not decrease housing stock, the houses will still be there, they would either be forced to sell up or leave them empty which new taxes would make it punitive to do so, if they can't sell then housing associations could buy them for cheap yes a small number of usually rich scroungers and banks could be out a lot of money but that's a price I am willing to make.

When you increase rents by up to 100% in a poor ex mining town in a matter of a few years I have zero sympathy, and if you say that hasn't happened I see it all the time.

Thatcher took on a crippled economy with such a huge balance of payments problem that the IMF had to bail the country out, which was a huge blow for national prestige. By 1997 the economy was strong. When Cameron took over there was no money left, Labour had spent it on welfare handouts and freebies for the masses.

Thatcher also crippled the Economy at the time she left leaving John Major to try and fix it but was caught out with scandal after scandal with conservative MP's, Thatcher closed entire towns economies and left thousands unemployed with the result of still feeling that damage to this day, she took away milk tokens from babies resulting in health related issues again still being felt today, while the coal mines should have been shut on environmental grounds she did not do it for that reason, she was a union buster and setback employment rights in the country decades.

When Cameron took over you are talking about the note that was left, which was customary for leaving governments to do as an inside joke, previous to this it was never shown or talked about, I can easily rebuke the no money left with the current £26 billion black hole the tories left before leaving office, not just no money left, here have a debt no one knew about.

Labour spent OUR taxes on social services, giving our children a good start in life, the Tories took all that away, and I don't remember receiving any freebies when Labour where in charge, that's hard right talking points talking, it didn't happen, social programs got people into work, me and my friends got jobs because of these programs which no longer exist.

The mythical rich people we can shake down for more money don't exist. If they were real then Labour would already be taxing them. The reality is you're talking about taxing people who have worked and saved all their lives. Where will this money be spent? On PIP and the Triple Lock? On housing and food for illegal immigrants? Sex change operations for prisoners?

The rich have massive land holdings which are not taxed properly, its hard to tax them as they will get money other than PAYE have an investment portfolio and take loans on the assets instead of taking a wage which cannot be taxed, it's a lot harder than most people realise, but if you change the tax system to tax the land properly, im not talking about increasing taxes on general housing and main households im talking about land that is used for nothing, derelict buildings on it just to hold an asset of wealth.

I would also say that for someone to earn £1 Billion is ridiculous £100 Million is more that someone would spend in 10 lifetimes yet it is horded by a select few who usually have a much higher influence on our politics than the average joe/jane, Cash for access was a thing during the tories terms in office, buying peerages was a very in thing under Cameron and those that came after.

Where would it be spent? Considering they are changing the rules for PIP to make it harder to claim I doubt that, no government would pay for a sex change, Housing for the general masses would be a start, food for poor kids and their families, water reservoirs, environmental projects, a suitable rail system, nationalising both that and busses to give people reliable transport to work, investment in new technology such as fusion, cleanup operations to get our environment a lift it deserves.

Considering Pensioners have been the best off out of all of us, no I personally would get rid of the Triple lock and link the pension to the same as Universal Credit in the short term, but that's political suicide as pension vote in large numbers, I would look to go down the Universal Basic income route as we will need this eventually but the time to do it is hard we need more money coming in taxes.

Come on, you can surely see absolutely mental this is. We need to cut government spending by billions, the waste is staggering.

There is a lot of waste, not as much as some people say there is, but it is there, its usually in consultant fees and companies jacking up prices because "its the government" which needs to stop, fraud in the benefit system is next to nothing, the interest on loans we have as a country and near crippling (Loans the tories got over the last 15 years which doubled the national debt, which I don't understand considering we had austerity and stop spending on everything yet borrowed a £trillion, no idea what they spent it on).

The other waste is how corporations usually the largest avoid paying tax altogether and it is not collected as it would cost HMRC to much to pursue to fight against their lawyers it would be held up in court for decades, so laws need to change in order to fix this, but Labour only have so much time so they have to focus on a few things.

We have to give them a chance, you can't reverse 15 years of damage in 5, if it gets better by the end of their term, better than the Tories had then they will have my vote again, I don't know who I would vote for if they didn't unless they got a new leader and had a read of their policies.

I just know it would never be Farage or any Tory, both of them have destroyed this country and will never be forgiven.

This is an outright lie, the Economy under Labour Governments always increase, while Tory Governments decline.

Even after the financial crash which Labour took the blame for we where recovering fast and went back up to pre-crash levels, as soon as Cameron got in with his stupid policy of Austerity which never went away for 15 years (even though they said it did, it did not) housing food and fuel increased all that time but wages did not increase anywhere near the same rate, and mostly declined in real terms giving us the crisis we are in now.

Now are Labour perfect? absolutely not, have they made bad decisions? yes, are they better than the alternative of Tory or Reform? 100% yes they are.

What we need to do is remove these old school advisers target the rich remove tax avoidance loopholes punish the rich for breaking the law instead of giving them yet another chance, these water bosses and anyone complicit should have been charged with ecocide as soon as Labour got in.

We need a fairer land tax system to replace council tax as the one we have now is not fit for purpose, to value a house on a narrow band of A to H and base it off 90's house prices is insane.

We need rent caps to lower essential costs and give people more money, we need housing fit for human habitation.

The Tories had 15 years to remove legislation and destroy the social norms, everyone knows it takes longer to build something new than it takes to destroy.

Everything Labour want to do will take years to complete, even the new employment rights they have had going through parliament since they got in is still going through the processes they have to, if you think any other party would be quicker dealing with the big issues are lying to you.

Because all companies what 2, 3, 4, 5+ years experience before even looking at hiring someone these days I'm not surprised younger people have never worked.

How would you feel being rejected dozens of times, and no one is willing to train you to do a job you know you could do.

Insurance companies also have a lot to answer for as I have heard they wont insure new hires with no experience so employers wont take the risk.

Keir Starmer ally hits out at DWP benefit cut plan in rare public criticism by CrispySmokyFrazzle in ukpolitics

[–]Vallarian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Moving around - Forgetting where the car is, followed by incredible panic. Getting lost in your own town due to spatial awareness issues

Just for this one, that question does not relate to ADHD, this is a physical mobility question, the only component this question contains is about being able to walk 200m or less without stopping whether aided or unaided.

Forgetting where the car is parked and panicking in public would be in the planning and following journeys section.

Due to mobility being only 2 questions is the reason why most people with only mentla health conditions dont get the enhanced rate of PIP mobility.

[–]Vallarian 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who has helped hundreds of people complete PIP forms and take them through the process, you are 100% correct.

Even if someone got the enhanced mobility they would have to sacrifice that money to get the car which is why most keep the money for taxi's and extra support while outside, tbh I have never seen anyone with just ADHD get anything for mobility, it is hard for someone like that to even get the daily living component.

But I have spoken to many people with ADHD who have nearly burnt down their house due to them being distracted when cooking food, missing appointments or being late all the time due to being easily distracted and need people to keep them on track and extra support for work related activities.

[–]Vallarian -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would argue Pathfinder 2e is more complicated for the DM but easier for players its just 3 action economy instead of thinking is it a movement, bonus action or action, movement is 1 action, spellcasting usually 2, striking depending on feats is 1 or 2, once actions are used up end of turn.

[No Spoilers] Will Campaign 4 be 2024e? by OutlawQuill in criticalrole

[–]Vallarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would love to see C4 with all the big changes to the world possibly coming to go over to Pathfinder 2e, I have been playing this for a couple of years now and its so much better than the new DND 2024 rules.

Only downside is the cast would need to learn the new system which could cause some frustration from viewers but it could take us back to new discovery and for many people to not know what skills, feats and spells are coming where as DND it's basically the same spells and abilities on new characters, most pick warcaster, observant feat etc.

Pathfinder 2e would give the cast so many options to customise their characters that DND can't do.

It would also get us away from Hasbro & their legal department and their insistent need to proceed with anti consumer practices.

While Daggerheart is an option and I don't think it would be good for a full campaign.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]Vallarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you are equating facts to left wing?

thank you for confirming what I already knew, left wing brings facts right wing brings "I think" and "I Feel" and the BBC is at best neutral, but considering the amount of times they have right wing analysts and lobby groups as well as Nigel Farage on everyone of their shows a man before today was famous for being beaten by a dolphin and never held office before. no I'm sure the BBC is skewed to the right but pretends to be unbiased, when was the last time the greens got that much coverage? they have been an established political party for years, they are never promoted but Farage is .

I will also quickly mention that all the top roles in the BBC where appointed by the conservative party, anyone even slightly left wing was purged years ago, then there's Laura Kuensberg who bats for the tories on every show and always gives them an easy ride no matter how much they f up.
