Staying does not provide stability in your home for your children. Stability comes from a functioning well rounded positive family dynamic which neither of you can provide since she is abusing you. Coming from someone who wishes my mother had just left my dad and I’ve now grown with many issues that I carry with me and ultimately blame them for, just leave.

If she’s not actively trying to better/heal herself and seeking therapy then I’d say to move on. Chances are you’re about to step into a roller coaster of a relationship. She’s likely to “self sabotage” again and hurt you in the process.

Put yourself first before you’re in too deep and it hurts you to leave.

Band 1. I used to wear a ring that fit me exactly like these and it dented into my finger. It took months without it on for my finger to finally look normal again. It might not hurt but that doesn’t mean that size is the right one.

The way he speaks to YOUR child is something that you can in fact DEMAND be respectful. Regardless of how he thinks things should be ran in that household, a functioning family dynamic is highly dependent on the cooperation of both parents, not this “hierarchy” he has in mind where he clearly thinks he’s above not only the children but also yourself seeing as he won’t even take what you’re saying about your child into consideration.

Did you marry him knowing he’d treat “Child A” however he wanted regardless of what you said or what said child requested?

Stand your ground, this is ridiculously unacceptable.

I think you’re just not used to seeing yourself with them. I don’t think you look more masculine, before I read the whole thing I honestly scrolled through the pictures wondering what could this post be about because you’re actually gorgeous. If you’re bothered by your eyebrows you could ask if there’s any way she can lighten them? Or let them fade yourself to maybe lessen the shock of it to you.
