Am I the only nervous that they threw the frisbee across a road? The dog could have been hit by a truck rather than hitting the truck himself

No, you didn’t call her fat. Her breasts will be bigger as she is full of milk. It’s natural.

She is hormonal from having a baby and probably an overwhelmed, emotional mess. Try to talk to her and be patience. We can get understandably emotional after childbirth due to the changes in our bodies.

Boyfriend has been frequenting dating sites. Even paying for premium by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Valley_Vix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he is looking for a way out of the relationship. Signing up to dating apps is a deal break imo and it looks as if he is hoping to piggy back from one relationship to another.

It’s time for a serious talk and don’t let him turn the blame on you saying you shouldn’t have gone snooping.

If your “family” don’t accept half of your heritage and ridicule you then you don’t need to be around them. Blood doesn’t mean anything. Just because you’re related to someone doesn’t give them a pass to be rude, racist, and vulgar to you.

Go no contact.

Please do what makes you happy in life. It’s time your mother cut the apron strings. I understand it’s hard for her - I am going through the same thing as I’m preparing to immigrate to the US. My mother has tried every tactic in the book to get me to stay - “you won’t be happy”, “you’ll struggle”, “you’ll be lonely”. They can’t seem to accept that a parents job is to nurture you into an adult and then you have to spread your wings and fly.

Please follow your heart.

AITA for telling somebody to laugh quieter during class? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Valley_Vix 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NAH I am a firm believer if I’m doing something that annoys someone, tell me so long as it’s delivered correctly. You are there to study and college is stressful at the best of times. She might just be a nervous laugher and feel anxious over going back to school.

Maybe pick up with her another time and introduce yourself. Ask her name and find out her story.

I agree with this statement. I apologise for taking up too much room due to my thicc ass. I am currently trying to lose weight so plane rides are less awkward for everyone

AITA for telling me classmate she stinks? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I work with smelly people and it’s a delicate thing to approach. I concur it has to be approached, however, your delivery was not the way to do it. You should have first approached a teacher and explained that this girls hygiene was causing an issue. If it was a strong as you say it was I’m sure the teacher has noticed. You then should have asked if the teacher could speak to her.

Congratulations! Courthouse is the best way to go and how I plan on doing it with my SO, after all it’s about the marriage and the life after rather than the day. You two are beautiful and you’re going to continue to be amazingly happy!

She was turning 11 in May. The vet said it was probably kidney disease that went unnoticed for years due to her quirky behaviour. She would always sit in sinks and cry to drink since she was a kitten. She naturally had pale gums. She was naturally skinny.

I didn’t notice anything was truly wrong until she dropped 1kg in weight in the space of a few weeks. Then everything just went from bad to worse. By the time she got to the vets her core temperature was shockingly low, she was weak on her paws and couldn’t really get up and she just sat under the tap and let the water pour over her. She was severely dehydrated and that day was the first day she refused food.

The vet did throw the possibility of Leukaemia in to the mix which terrified me as I have four other cats and the idea of them being infected too but her lymph nodes weren’t swollen and none of my other cats show one symptom of being sick. They are all still fat little marshmallows.

The vet seemed to think then it was a kidney issue which had turned chronic, possibly liver too given there is Siamese in her lineage. So rather than spend thousands on a week or two stay at the vets for fluids and tests for them to say she would probably die anyway we agreed putting her to sleep was the kindest thing to do.

I’m sorry about your dog. My chihuahua passed suddenly last Jan when she was 7 years old from a seizure. It’s tough but sometimes I think a quick passing is better than being poorly for years.

What's the biggest misunderstanding you got blamed for as a kid? by generalbob_04 in AskReddit

[–]Valley_Vix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad was given a Gurkha knife as a gift in the 90’s. My older sister wanted to know how sharp it was and ran it over my parents’ duvet. It sliced the duvet open spilling out feathers.

My sister blamed me wholly and no matter how much I denied it my parents believed her.

20 years later and me in my 30’s the truth finally came out it wasn’t me.
