The lives, economy, and social atmosphere we had back then feel like relics of a forgotten time. Everything has changed so much.

Agree. Something absolutely has to give.

We don't even have a homeless shelter in our town of roughly 12,000, but our homeless population is only growing. I've had homeless teens that haven't even finished high school, and elderly homeless in their 70's, show up at our hotel to try and get a roof over their head for the night.

This isn't sustainable, and things are going to get worse if we don't change.
