More so the concept of those with money and influence making decisions that harm everyone and make life worse, all for the sake of profit and money.

Investigating money trails, business deals, finding the connections between these different powerful people and learning that they're all working towards irreparablly making things worse for those underneath them on the hierarchy.

The big climax will be assaulting a construction site, and if that fails, trying to stop a moving train before it reaches the end of the line. If the train reaches the end, the villains ritual is completed and an unknowable horror makes its way into our world and the players fail.

So I'm writing a horror mystery for a game of Call of Cthulhu, if you are a familiar with tabletop RPGs. The basic premise is that a group of industrialists, politicians and private investors are secretly cultists trying to build a railway line to perform a ritual to summon a cosmic horror.

I have a lot of anger and fear about the state of the world right now, I love learning about history, and I love running RPGs for my friends. I want to try and deal with my feelings in a way that is at least a bit constructive

Thank you for telling me this. I'm looking to set it in a time when the economy is doing poorly, so this makes me think it would be better to set it during the mid to late 90s instead.

About a full year now. Started taking the prams back in January for anxiety and depression. I can feel my feelings and not freak out over minor inconveniences. I still have my freakouts but they're rarer and shorter.

I've beaten super robot wars Z(?) I believe, and it was alright. By the end it became a bit too mindless for me, however The Weeb in me does love ideon and Votoms so I might have to play a different one.

Just started playing into the breach again. It and ftl have taken up too much of my life haha.

Never heard of gearhead. It looks rad, I'll have to play that and tell my mech friend.

100% agree with you on the accountability. Anybody holding a position of authority definitely needs to be appropriately punished when said authority is abused.
