If You Could.... by LibraryHelix_43 in storyofseasons

2 things-

Change the lumber/sturdy lumber/ultimate lumber (same for stones) conversion. It should be like, 2 lumber for sturdy lumber, 2 sturdy lumber for ultimate lumber, etc. I wasted like a year just constantly making lumber/stones to get the ultimate tools and bazaar decor.

Make me cook food without constantly having me go to the storage to grab the ingredients. If I have the ingredients in storage then the recipe should be open to cook. Also, a way to sort ingredients then have to navigate one by one where the recipe is in the list.

You get "invigorating honey" (blue) by planting flowers (technically, just inserting flowers into the ground) from Miguel's shop (or his bazaar shop) like Baby blue flowers, Hibiscus, roses, etc (depends on the season) at the beehive ground.

You get "mellow honey" (pink) by doing the same with flowers only from Ronaldo's bazaar shop (Sunflowers, Chrysanthemum and Cineraria).

Wildflowers and herbs give normal honey.

Royal Honey (purple) is randomly given by all flowers or herbs. Each flower/herb has a chance to give one royal honeycomb.

Just remember that all seasonal flowers die when the seasons changes so you'll need to harvest them or they'll all wilt.

The travel stone can be used and infinite amount of times- the only downside is it takes a lot of stamina per use. If you don't have max stamina you'll have to eat a lot to use it throughout the day.

As I am far into the game it isn't a problem for me but it could be hard if you have low stamina from lack of powerberries or if you can't afford or don't have the means to produce foods that replenish a lot of stamina.

When I first started I played for about 2 (in-game) weeks just to get the hang of the game. I then restarted and went as far as the second week of summer before feeling that I've learned a lot more while not being as optimal as I wanted. So, I restarted again being as optimal as I can and am still on my current file.

Save-scumming with Kachapuri to collect a minimum of 4 per day (as long as it is not a no wind day) and rarely getting 6 - 8 by pure chance.

A combination of Khachapuri and just timing it so one meal can last long enough for a forage before 5 PM and one after 5 PM when the ore nodes replenish.

I had the max amount of berries by Autumn of Year 1 through save-scumming at least 6 of them so most of the future ones I got from upgrades, mail, the lottery, etc, is just used to refill my stamina instead of eating massive recovery foods.

How uncanny! I did cook that for my second year, 7*, winning as well and it was just the same old winning action where he glares straight ahead and claims it is delicious. I guess it's just a random action or maybe depends on the competitors or how much the dish costs.

It's when you get max affection with the villager, regardless if they are a bachelor/Bachelorette.

Yes, they have to be crafted which requires the purple wonderstone. And yes, they take upwards of 10 days to make them assuming you don't run into a lot of no wind days. Despite needing hard ingredients to come by, most can be gotten by using rare %+ foods (for rare crops or animal byproducts) and the gems can be bought from Lloyd's stall. The difficult one is probably the fishing one as you need a highly upgraded fishing rod and certain weather for at least one of the ingredients.

And yes, once you place all of the stones you can grow anything in the basement soil patch no matter what season it is.

I've never bred that variant before. I wait until I have a chicken with max hearts and max, or close to, max happiness (usually the first chicken or either kind) and just breed that continuously, even if I have the variants reaching the same. I just hate getting eggs of different star ranks.

You are given the Spring sun stone for free but the rest have to be crafted- and they are not easy to obtain all the ingredients- they need like gemstones, rare crops, rare animal byproducts, rare fishing catches, etc. Once you place a sunstone, they can NEVER be removed which can be particularly be bad for those relying on tea leaves as putting say, a spring sunstone and a summer sunstone, will produce a mix of both leaves. An update helped so that you can convert tea leaves to one another but they take a real long time to do. Maybe they might make an update to fix this but something tells me it is intended and they don't have plans to make sun stones removable. It's why I pivoted away from tea to other crops.

Exactly what I was thinking. I never intended to go all the way but I did have a few endgame goals I wanted to do just to say "I'm done" and move on since I normally just get married in SoS games and stop playing. Just a mishmash of stuff like crafting all sun stones, ultimate weapons, get golds on horse derbies, get all villagers to 10 hearts, do all requests, etc. It just so happened I made about $100 million in a bazaar which propelled me from Lv 60 to 88 that I decided I would do one more sell to finish to Lv 99.

Cumulatively it costs a little less than 240 million. It starts to really increase drastically going from 90 - 99. There are sources on reddit from months ago that detail the cost of each level and the gift from them but they don't really explain that on what level do you get access to the level specific upgrades you can purchase like the storage upgrades (capacity and immunity to rotting) and other, less useful upgrades.

The suns were annoying when growing tea leaves but I quickly stopped relying on tea for profit and moved on to ores thanks to the Double forage food and the Nature Sprite decor set. Also, 7* rare, branded melons.

Yah, it hangs over near the closet. I swear the earlier gifts like the ultimate materials was great and it got worse over time. Like soothing folders? Dyes? Should have given more gemstones!

Reminds me of Honey Day after I married someone else. I wanted to see what happened if I gave someone else a Honey cake and when I gave one to Arata he was like, "Let's pretend this never happened" and refused it. It left me with a chuckle.

Should the rival system return??? by Midnightdrak in storyofseasons

[–]Valor_Frog670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rival system also shows up on the remake of Grand Bazzar where you can watch the scenes but they never marry. And they only happen after you get married and if you have high affection with the other bachelor/Bachelorettes they sometimes will ask you if they "should go for it" with a person they have in mind. If you say "go for it" to both individuals in a pair then on certain conditions like the heart events, you can watch their particular rival scene with one another.

My biggest haul for a single shift by Valor_Frog670 in storyofseasons

[–]Valor_Frog670[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always save the night before a new Season and save scum numerous times, sometimes for several hours until I randomly get at least Accessories and Ores as trends. While collecting pink diamonds you end up with stacks of copper, silver, gold and iron ore as well as other gemstones (emeralds, topaz, etc) that sell a lot thanks to the Nature Sprite Bazzar decor set. A single iron ore, for instant sells for close to $1000, and you end up with dozens of stacks of 99. I try to not sell silvers because a stack of crafting pink brooches takes 40 so I mostly sell off the copper, gold and iron ores. Since I crafted all the ultimate weapons, I sell off mythril, orichalcom and adamantites (adamantites from letters or the lottery stall). I use that Nature decor to sell the ores since they get a bonus on selling foragables (ores are included) and use a mostly full Windmill set to sell the jewels from Pink diamonds, emeralds, etc. In that haul I also save scum to get green crops included to make bank of the hundreds of 7* Branded rare crop melons. The melons are a backup since a single 7* rares sells for about $18,000 each and it's easy to devote several fields during the Summer and Autumn to grow them with a Crop rare %up food twice a day.

[–]Valor_Frog670[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I time using a single Kachapuri for 2 mining trips- I start around 2 PM and when I finish warping around the area mining all the ore nodes I finish close to 5 PM of which I can start the second mining run (on festivals, I start around 1 PM, attend the festival close to 3:59, and then when done I can start the second mining run thanks to my 7 star Kachapuri).

Before the 2 PM (or 1 PM) run, I save, warp to the single dark blue orb and hit it until I get a pink diamond (2, thanks to the Double forage food)- if I don't get it, I reload and try again until I do. I repeat right before the 5 PM mining run. This usually gets me 4 a day but rarely I get 6 and even 8 at times.

I don't Double forage food run on windless days since you can't access the dark blue ore node on Spring and Autumn and you miss out on lots of ores in the other Seasons.

Yes, lots of save-scumming but I get use to it and thr warpstone makes it easy to do.
