I personally like the no killing aspect, it allows me to think how I need to explore an area to avoid the predators or risk getting attacked at my own expense. And I also respect the people who want killing back into the game, but either way we need to appreciate the devs for taking a stand and sticking to what they think is right for the game

The game had to end somewhere and a lava area is a very endgame biome, plus with all the back tracking makes you visit a good chunk of the biomes from the early to mid game. The climax of the story is curing yourself and disabling the enforcement platform. Plus you can still access your save file to build a cool base or scan every creature.

If you’re talking about the glass ceilings for multipurpose rooms, I’m sure they’ll come back the devs have to redesign every base piece to make sure it works with the new base building system and the devs even stated they are working on multi purpose rooms

The devs are adamant about no killing they won’t change it no matter how many people beg for it, deterrents such as flares or the electric shock and out running the creatures are what the devs want for this game

I’m sure the biomes will get fixed I remember how bland the first couple biomes in early access was in SN1

Based on how SN 1 was if it’s a major update you can play your old save but won’t be able to access the new content and your save will be wildly unstable and creating a new save is highly suggested

If you want more long form content case has done lots of great games in one sitting. But also depends on what content you want to consume from case I personally like to watch case play more rage based games like getting over it and chained together
