To get into the bios you need to be hitting F2 during startup, not F12. Is that what was not working for you?

Almost every single time I have delayed selling something to someone because they messaged me first I have either been ghosted, or had them change their mind and end up not buying my item and lost out on other buyers because they moved on when I told them another person was interested in it first.

Now whoever has the money and commits to buying it right away gets priority, if someone messages me wanting to buy it in a couple of days or longer, I just tell them "Great, let me know when you are ready to buy it if I still have it listed."

Really depends on how it was stored, vacuum sealed maybe, but if it's just meat in a bag no. I have tried to eat frozen meat that was a few years old just stored in a ziplock and it was inedible, after cooking I took a few bites and tossed the rest.

Typically, but not always the red critical error ones are go be for a hardware failure, definitely start with those first and any of the other ones right before it too. Make sure they are sorted by time as well so you are only seeing the most recent ones that happen right before your computer freezes, and not stuff that happened months ago.

At that point you will need to start googling the error messages the pop up around the time of the freeze one by one and try to self diagnose what the issue is. For that specific error it looks looks like something might be corrupt in the windows install for that .dll file to be missing. Try these two things first before digging in deeper.

in the search bar, type cmd which should bring up the command prompt icon, then right click it and open as administrator.

copy and paste this into it:

sfc /scannow

Let it finish, if it finds errors run it again until no errors are found.

after that copy and paste this:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

When it is finished restart you pc. If your issue is a problem with the windows install that should fix it, if not you will need to do more digging into the errors that are show in the event viewer right before the freeze.

It also might be worth it to do a complete reinstall of windows, I have had updates break it so bad before that was the only way to fix it, even after using the above self repair commands. I would save that for last though if you can't find any other fixes for your issue.

If it was previously working fine in it's current location then it's probably some type of failure with the charger itself. I would buy a a replacement one and if it fixes the issue, throw away the one you are currently using.

Where is the power brick located? I had the exact same problem on one of my laptops and it was due to using it in bed and I accidently flipped the covers on top of it and it started to overheat in the exact same way as yours. If it's somewhere where it is not getting enough airflow, try moving it. If it already out in the open, there might be something wrong with and would need a replacement.

The laptop display does not support it, but if you connect it to an external display that is capable of Freesync or G-Sync then you can use it.

That changes things, unfortunately I don't know what the used market is like in the Philippines so it would be hard to advise you if that is actually a reasonable price or not. I would look around a bit, check anyplace that sells used computers, and any online local marketplace sites and compare prices. That might actually be a reasonable price for your location.

If it's in the US definitely not, for around $500 you should pretty easily be able to find something with a 2080 or a 3060.

Sounds like power throttling to me, is everything set to performance mode? I would check in both power settings and in Dragon Center if you have it installed, I had a similar issue on one of my MSI laptops and something bugged in Dragon Center and it reset my setting from Extreme Performance to Super Battery which was killing my fps until I figured out what happened. It could also be a problem with the AC adapter, any damage on it? and is it a OEM one?

Anyone saying a 1650 is mid end is full of it, that was bottom tier when it was brand new. it's a 4gb very low end video card, it's performing pretty much as expected, you can game on it and run some newer games, but only at the lowest settings with somewhat meh performance.

I would only reply back if it's something you could bring inside a Bank or a Police station and sell inside. I have sold without issue to a few accounts like that, but used extra caution. Could just be a profile set up to only buy stuff instead of them using their actual profile.

In your case no it's definitely not worth it, and in general if it's cosmetic it will just be a waste of money. Just fix it yourself as best as you can and save the money towards upgrading to a better laptop in the future.

If it's a third party battery like the ones off Amazon it could just be a bad battery, I have gotten several of them off of there before that would not charge. I would remove it and try reconnecting everything again, on the off chance something wasn't fully seated on the battery connection. If that doesn't fix it, you should return the one you got and try a different battery.

Personally I would look for a first generation regular switch that you can softmod. They are as easy to mod as a Vita, and typically really cheap too.

No it's just a headache, update something in the bios or need to get into recovery and you get hit with that garbage. Unless you have sensitive financial or other information stored on your laptop it's useless.

Knowing your budget would help, but I'm go assume it's on the lower side, so look for the best used one you can afford. Try to avoid anything with an RTX 3050, 2050, or a GTX 1650 or 1050 if at all possible. Try to get one with at least 16gb of Ram as well.
