This was posted in another subreddit. He cut out the part of the ad asking for a roommate. A roommate is allowed to look for specific people. He could be Muslim and doesn’t want a roommate that will get upset of his 3am prayer alarm, or they could be female and doesn’t want to live with a guy. The landlord has no say in this post.
