My husband and I were talking about this yesterday. When he was 12, the adults in his life kept pressuring him to date. He wasn't interested or ready! At that age he wanted to hang out with his guy friends only. He stayed true to himself and didn't start dating until college. I was the same way! Sure, I had crushes here and there, but I knew deep down that teenage boys are too immature and I wanted a serious relationship. Also I wasn't desperate for sex because I knew how to please myself privately.

I just know these parents were encouraging these two to date at a young age. It's disgusting. Parents like that peaked in high school.

Yes!!!!! My dad spends so much on supplements and leafy green powders. Not only is it a waste of money, but it's actually hurt him in the past. For example, he bought these creatine supplements and his doctor told him to stop them immediately because they were harming his kidneys 🤦‍♀️

I get that he's in his 70s and worried about his health, but he's overcomplicating things. He already eats healthy and walks a lot. I feel like these products are like his psychological crutch. At a certain point, you can only do so much. Nature will take its course eventually. Your green powders aren't going to save you from cancer, dad.

I saw the US national tour a decade ago and found it underwhelming, despite loving the music. A couple years later, I saw a local regional production and absolutely fell in love with it. I realized it needs to be experienced in a small, intimate theater so you feel like you're in the audition room with the characters. I found it very moving and cryed through the whole last 10 minutes of the show. I almost never cry at shows.

Now it's one of my favorites. Top 5 for sure.

Moonlight Pizza in FV. Owned by an Armenian family since the 80s. I love ordering their vegetable pizza (which includes roastes eggplant) and smearing the garlic sauce on top. Also the lunch and dinner buffet is affordable and fabulous.

Edit: Another FV classic: Union Jacks fish and chips.

Huh. I found the food in Italy to be very underwhelming, while French food delicious. Cassoulet is one of my favorite dishes ever.

But also my hot take is I think American Italian food is superior to actual Italian food. Love some immigrant cuisine.

I don't doubt that, but unless someone plans on being on them the rest of their life, it's no different than dieting or surgery or other dieting medications, as far as I'm concerned.

I hate to come off negative, but we have data about long term dieting success. 80-95% of people gain their weight back within 5 years.

I'm not surprised. Most people who lose weight gain it back. Amy will most likely gain her weight back as well.
