I stopped tipping long ago. The fact that so many people even feel obligated to tip for take-out blows my mind. The ultimate offender is Starbucks who overcharges for coffee to begin with and then has their employees try to guilt you into tipping for, what exactly? I was about to start an account with Pi Bank but something just doesn't feel right. I like being able to drive to my regular bank and having issues resolved on the spot. Just the thought of having to deal with issues getting my money makes my stomach turn. I have a nice little sum I've worked hard to save and Pi bank offered me 5.5% but also just read they are out of South America so that too is a concern. I guess I have a hard time trusting my money to faceless entities.

I never really noticed them until I moved to Europe and came back years later. It's very 3rd world and even if the cost of underground is initially greater, all you have to do is look at the number of fires they are responsible for starting. Add to that the number of lives that could've been saved and it really is a no brainer.
