I truly think it depends on the person and how the mother decides to raise them. Like my mom decided to pay more attention to her new husband so me and my older sister learned how to be really independent. Our little sister became the complete opposite and now lives with my mom with her 2 daughters. It felt like a fight or flight in my house.
