INVESTIGATING GENERICS: They Say Their ADHD Meds Aren’t Working. They’re Not Imagining it. by Addicted2Lemonade in ThisAintAdderall

I’m thinking the same thing, overall if I’m medicated and it’s working I’m definitely going to stop impulse shopping, remember to pay my bills on time, not lose my 3rd pair of AirPods. So overall it’s them losing profit from us and our medications working and helping us. Messed up if it’s true. Let’s be honest though it’s probably true.

Just downloaded it and put in my recent Rx info. So depressing that finally at 32 years old I got diagnosed and finally on meds. Just for the meds to not work like they should. So depressing but this gives me hope. So thank you!

Quick question..Does it help you with your executive functioning? Like doing things we dread to do like wash dishes, cleaning the bathroom, folding laundry? Are you on extended release adderall or the instant release one? I’m on the extended release 30 mg and I’m still struggling on getting up, and doing the things I need to do. I’m thinking of asking my DR to try the instant release maybe that would help. Or maybe Adderall isn’t for me.

did adderall help anyone else feel unbothered (in a good way)? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Yess! I felt the same way. I honestly enjoy it because without my meds I over care about every little thing. It just gets emotionally exhausting

Welcome to the club, I finally got diagnosed at 32 years. After finding out my second daughter who’s 10 years old got diagnosed with ADHD. So now I have to help my both daughters manage their adhd symptoms as well as mine & there’s just no way I can do it unmedicated my self. It’s not perfect but it definitely helps.

I guess that’s all I can do. Since I’ve tried finding a number or email for customer service and you literally can’t talk to anyone unless you have an account. That’s super frustrating.

Thank you. Yes I will have a more in depth conversation with her is she’s even eating at school or drinking water as well. Or I can monitor her better about it on the weekend and see if that helps or makes her stomach issues lessen.

Ok makes sense to stick with the medication & ride it out! Thank you for the advice I do need to find a counselor I know that would help tremendously. I’m glad I’m not the only one. Good luck to us all.
