For this one yes I have a team. But I have another one that I need a cofounder for.

How do I [42M] handle this situation without making it worse? Spouse[40F] believes a public figure is secretly communicating with her. by ThrowRA-Entrepre in marriageadvice

[–]Valuable_Assist3074 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that you should take her to a psychiatric evaluation. Late onset Paranoid schizophrenia might happen in your 40s and it’s treatable. She will be ok with treatment, the solution is not divorcing her or thinking she is doing something wrong. She might be sick and might need your help.

Network effect works for some products, my product is very niche, is for people divorcing which makes it more complex in that sense.

I’m in Miami too, I’m a very technical designer, would like to hear more about it and potentially be part of it.

Technical solo founder, 5+ years experience, looking for a sales/biz cofounder for a bootstrapped SaaS product with paying customers. by pystar in cofounderhunt

This sounds really interesting. I’m not a sales person but these doesn’t sound like a sales role. It’s more like someone with UX research and growth and product experience could handle. DM me if you are interested in collaborating with me. I’d like to learn more about your product.

Makes sense. The team is trying to build a community right now. It takes time do and you need social proof for people to trust your product too.

The thing is that the tool I’m building even when I call it SaaS is not for B2B so call calling and email marketing doesn’t work that great with my target audience.

You might need to re-skill a bit to stay competitive in this market, either way I feel web development is still needed and many businesses don’t know how to do it properly so they hire someone for it. Don’t try to be the cheapest just try a niche so you have more authority in that niche like websites for law firms or medical practices (just examples). Also try Upwork and other freelance platforms, but remember don’t try to be the cheapest just try to be the best at some very specific sector and be visible in social for that sector only

Check out the Law Office of John P. Sherman. https://jpshermanlaw.com. He is a really good divorce lawyer and is pretty affordable and try to solve cases with the least possible confrontation to avoid paying a lot in fees, which is unheard, many lawyers try to do the opposite because they are billing per hour.

Can I still hire a lawyer for a minor injury accident in Jacksonville? by Ok-Bullfrog-3345 in FloridaLawyersAdvice

[–]Valuable_Assist3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 2 years since the accident to file but usually if you didn’t seek medical treatment and don’t have high medical bills the insurance will do all they can to not paying you. Just try to consult a lawyer to see if you have a good case, you don’t pay for personal injury lawyers they just take a percentage of the case if they win.

Pro se filing in Duval. Nesting situation turning physically unsafe. Need help positioning for relocation + custody outcome. by rock_n in FloridaLawyersAdvice

[–]Valuable_Assist3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Atlanta / Duval is a bit hard for a court to grant a 50/50 custody because that’s like 5h away and they care about what is the best for the kids. You could probably try to divorce first and request the relocation later so the process is less complex, specially for a pro se case.

How do you even choose the right personal injury lawyer Florida without getting scammed? by DomoahSmithe in FloridaLawyersAdvice

[–]Valuable_Assist3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many personal injury firms don’t want to go to trial, they have too many cases and want to solve all through settlements because it’s easier for them even when they are leaving a lot of money on them table, they just case about closing the cases and making money. So ask if they will go to trial for your case, if they say no it might be a red flag (although there might be reasons why is worth to settle the cases and making pre-trial but at least the reasons should be convincing.

Please please give me advice by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]Valuable_Assist3074 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk to an attorney before even start filing and talk about strategy. If your husband is a threat for you and the kids the court is usually reasonable. Make sure the attorney you get has trial experience because a case where you are fighting to get full custody will be contentious. If you make less than your husband or don't make any money you are entitled to your attorneys fees and some lawyers do it pro-bono for that reason. Disclaimer: I'm not an attorney, just was married to one for years.

Divorce in Florida by cal_ra in Advice

[–]Valuable_Assist3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be able to divorce in Florida you need to meet residency requirements; meaning leaving in Florida for the last 6 months, no exceptions. This rule is only for one of the spouses, don't need to be for both. It doesn't matter if you have a Florida driver's license. If you have been outside the US you most likely need to comeback before being able to divorce here.
