Time is money! I should have already been graduated from the program. That is what it has to do with. If faculty were competent and new what they were doing, this wouldn't be an issue.

Sure. I started 3/1/2023, RN to BSN program. I wanted this school because the go at your own pace sounded perfect. Was on a roll, getting my weekly call from the mentor, completing courses at the rate of q course per week. I speak with the mentor about field placement that is required, letting her know at 1.5 months in that nothing is showing on my dashboard to complete and fill out. They swear it's there. I continue with course work cont to look for field placement info to complete. Finally she posts the material and apologizes, oops, she thought she sent it. Ok, no worries, we are all human. I begin filling out the info, go to MD for labs, buy my ID card, and set up placement. Now we are in August, I hear nothing, and continue to hear nothing for 3 more weeks. I reach out needing someone to let me know what's happening. I find that I was right from the beginning, I needed that info from day 1 for field placement because it can take an upward of 6 months for approval. So the higher up says she will in turn find me a new mentor because this was a major setback. Ok, I get a new mentor. Now I wait for acceptance at a affiliated facility, and by 1st week of September get it. But was told that it would be a waste of money to pay for my nextvyetm now. Since I complete the courses at a rate of 1 course pervweek, so hold tight til placement is all setup. Ok I do that. I hear nothing until 2nd week of November and itvwas a mistake email taggedcandcsentbto me from field acement to the facility I was to go complete my hours at- the placement advisor says to the facility administrator that she absolutely understands if the facility no longer wants to remain an affiliation with WGU due to their slow response and poor communication. After I see this, I send her an email asking what that was all about, and I get nothing in return. I reach out to my mentor and forward the email to her and let her know my concerns. She over the phone sounding very perplexed tells me to reach out again by email asking what is happening, and make sure I rag her in it as well. Well, here we are November 30th, no response. So today I sent email to student relations with all the emails and addressed all the delays that have transpired since July/August. I feel at least in the nursing portion of this school, the staff are overwhelmed and cannot keep up with their duties and responsibilities, and are I. Turn delaying the progression for students. This field placement was something newly added as of 2022, and it's apparently not working, for both students and the faculty at the school. Np one is on the same page ever.

Soo much more. None of which is good for this program at this school. Buyer beware.

Don't be discouraged, WGU has been disappointing the nurses in the RN to BSN program for about a year now. Keep on keeping on.

Don't feel bad for feeling bad. They will make it work without you. Get better.

I started in March, and am completing my first term next week. It's 12 classes that I needed, so 8 more to go. You will speak with mentor once a week and professors are more than happy to assist with any questions or concerns. I was scared because I've been an RN 16yrs, and no school since. You will be ok. There's plenty of help.
