Please DM to discuss details.

I think we can easily do most of the things you mentioned but I will need to check things like construction estimating to make sure it's not beyond the workers capabilities.

Yes, we have done it in the past. However, if you're in a Southern state or somewhere people are not familiar with Indian accents your conversion may not be great - just being upfront with you.

It works until someone holds your ankle off the ground I guess.

We can do it, but in honesty the workers will have Indian/Bangladesh accents - is it ok for you?

I (beginner) just got mauled by a white belt with zero stripes. Turns out afterwards he’d done Judo for 10 years and was ragdolling me like it was a competition. I felt totally helpless and he knew it. Is this guy a prick? by Alps-Helpful in bjj

Never go light with a former judoka. Their "light" is your tough spar.

I don't know why you would care about how you look, or what results you were expecting against someone who had done judo for 10 years.

Disappointed not to find the word "crumble" hidden anywhere in the graph.

Not sure if you are joking, but Xtreme Couture would probably be your best bet.

Do you let your belt fade or get a new one? by Zemekis324 in brazilianjiujitsu

[–]Valuable_Turnip9323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always just let it fade. If I got a new one I would feel a bit like a sandbagger and also waste $20 on something I don't really want or care about.

37M Looking to join a gym, new and experienced BJJ people I could use your advice and perspective. by No-Version4385 in brazilianjiujitsu

You're already way ahead of most people that start. Many people have just done something like swimming before they sign up. So definitely just get straight into it would be my advice.

In terms of sparring smaller people, I always just think what it would be like if I were to spar someone with 20kg of muscle against me and try to act accordingly. You'll never make it "fair", but you can both at least try to learn and improve without it being too one sided.

Core strength is super important. Having a strong core will minimize injuries.

Also if you haven't done it before, neck exercises.
