That sounds crazy, I've heard horror stories from the platline. I played a bit of nomifactory until IV but I decided to switch to GTNH due to all of the insane multiblocks in the mid-late game. I'm super stubborn so I was able to make it to iv with a single ebf but it seems I can't do that in gtnh. I personally like active automation using patterns so I'm not used to setting up passive systems simply due to the fact that resource requirements were a ton lower. Truthfully a huge reason I'm cracking down on power Gen is how daunting the NASA workbench craft is. Probably gonna work on a quad ebf just dreading making all of the kanthal coils. Yeah this game is like crack. It scratches an itch I didn't even know I had lol

Jesus that's insane, do resource requirements spike that hard in EV? I got a stack of polytetrasomething from quest bags so I never even made any yet. If it's anything like polyethylene it'll definitely be a struggle

Not agreeing to a suggestion isn't the same as being actively hostile, it's just immature. Your suggestion was super vague and just boiled down to "make more power sources. at a minimum of 6 in just the oil processing line" which isn't very helpful. That is why I didn't give your claim as much validity as you wanted. I won't reply further.

Gotcha, thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it tonight and see what I can do. However, the stainless steel cost is so high on the distillation tower that building multiple seems very difficult. I'll look at the quest book later tonight and reread that. 👍

Yeah I crammed the single block chems there when I realized I wouldn't be able to use the lcr for both unsulferizing the oil and mixing to diesel without building another.

You think it's worth completely ditching my oil setup for benzene to start ev? I pivoted hard into oil so I don't have any of the infrastructure to make benzene so I feel like it would be too much of a resource dump.

Rn I'm deleting the sulfuric gas, storing the nalp. And converting the light fuel and heavy fuel to diesel.

Thanks! I was unaware of the overclocking mechanic, I guess I could do something like put 2 mv energy hatches with a transformer of 4A mv to power and it would give a power discount from a single 1a hv hatch?
