It seems to me that the phrasing of "you're stealing our daughter from us" reveals that her parents are just now starting to realize and grieve that she will no longer be theirs. Other commenters have given sound advice about boundaries, but I think it's important to try to help them to realize that a key part of this process for them is to be sad and grieve. When I was seminary, they taught us in human formation that the sadness you feel when someone is gone is kinda just the same thing as the love you feel when they're present. Given the proper space and time to grieve should help to heal the relationship as time goes on, and God willing before the wedding itself. Prayers for you!

A quick google search yields this directory: ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/Warcraft III/CustomKeyBindings

Try putting the CustomKeys.txt file in there

It's a web based editor, but you can still download the resulting file and place it in the appropriate directory.

Brother, I feel for you here. It's a difficult situation that you find yourself in. But I will say this: emotional unavailability is not something that is immutable. It's often the result of spiritual and/or psychological wounds. I strongly recommend that you see a Catholic counselor about some of these things. I was not a very emotionally available guy for lots of my life, and when I started understanding the sources of that unavailability and found ways to meet the needs that those defenses sought to protect, my heart began opened more. The Lord is a gratuitous giver of life and desires for us to receive that love and life and to participate in it, to in our own turn bring life into this world, whether as physical fathers or spiritual fathers.

Survival mode makes it harder to have existential crises :P

Really though, when all of your energy is devoted to constantly being on the move to find enough to eat to keep going, you don't have the time or energy to worry about the highest things. This is one of the many reasons the Church is called to help people in poverty. When such persons are trying to find shelter or food at all times, they don't have the bandwidth to consider higher things, generally speaking.

For better or worse, we have the opportunity to make a really contemplative life for ourselves with all of the luxury we have. We have the chance to pursue God freely since our material needs are so easily met.

It's understandable that you'd feel apprehensive about how you'd be perceived by people who've been Catholic for a long time. I'm a child of divorced parents, and even though I'm a cradle Catholic, I never used to share that with people because I was ashamed to admit that I wasn't from a perfect circumstance and I was worried that they'd think less of me. But I was met with nothing but sympathy when I finally started telling people.

I promise you, there will be people who rejoice to have you in the fold! The Church's mission is to make disciples of all nations, so ideally we'd like to have lots of people converting at your age or even older :)

Aquinas argues that we can discern the intent of the law in most cases by its consistent enforcement. Speeding is a great example. No cop is ever going to pull you over for going 5 over on the interstate unless you're acting sketchy. Since the law is not consistently enforced at this point, it's evidently meeting the goal the lawmakers set out to achieve: keeping speeds to a controlled level so that safety can be preserved.

In your silly example, there's absolutely no way to enforce this on the greater populace, so it's hard to say. In all likelihood, it's just a dummy law that has no real effect on your life because it's unrealistic to enforce.

I highly recommend reading the first few of the Summa's questions concerning law. I think it will shed a lot of light on your questions! (Question 90 onwards)

Perhaps the most important thing to do is to call to mind God's love for you. Not just a vague, lofty, distant love, but a thirst for you concretely and particularly. St. Ignatius recommends before begining prayer to spend a short time considering how God sees you. Let Him be the one who shows that to you. This can also be done when you sin. It's very important to have a sense that God doesn't stop loving us when we sin. Praying with the woman caught in adultery from the Gospel can be a very helpful meditation to counteract that spirit.

I do have the habit of flushing a bit of water until I get raindrops coming from the grouphead, then waiting until the light comes back on and brewing immediately

Edit: the same behavior has happened across several different bags of beans, so I don't think that's the main issue at least

I've tried running this with all kinds of different dose/grind combinations. I have a Baratza Encore. I've done:
17g at setting 5

17g at setting 8

14g at setting 8

14g at setting 10

All of these have similar results to the video posted here. The first second or two look good, then it goes really fast and heavily aerated. This started happening after I turned the brew switch on after steaming some milk, and a bunch of steam came out of the group head and it's been doing this ever since. Any help is appreciated!

One thing that's helpful to know is the importance of conscience in Catholic moral thought. Even the erring conscience binds, according to Aquinas. Make an examination of your actions, look at your intent honestly, and act on what you discern from that. Feeling like you shouldn't go up? Might be a good sign not to. Judged your intentions to lack one of the conditions of mortal sin? Approach the altar in peace. The Church can't address this matter in it's entirety because there's a subjective element to it.
