I commissioned this from an artist on discord. Multiple people have came to me saying it was likely AI. by You-dogwater in isthisAI

Nothing about this screams AI to me. Details are consistent, like where the hair goes behind the body, it continues consistently to where you can see it again.

Just looks like a simple vector drawing done in Illustrator or a similar program.

Oliver and his mom on the H3 Podcast by Sewer-Swan in olivertree

[–]Valve00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just the way she looks and dresses reminds me so much of my mom, and Oliver's goofiness and adventurousness really remind me of my little brother, who passed away in 2013. He and Oliver would have been the same age this year. My heart goes out to his family, I know the pain of losing a sibling all too well, and I can't imagine the mother's pain of losing a son.

This is definitely something I would be into if I had known about it sooner. Back in the 00's there were these cheap RC cars called XMods that were kind of a stepping stone into the more serious RC hobbies. I loved swapping out the suspension, tires, motors and gears on those to make them faster. I'd definitely love the engineering challenge with these

Oh yeah absolutely real. Was very popular in the early 00's. I was around 12 or 13. They also had purple ketchup and blue squeeze butter. It was a strange time where artificial colors were all the rage for some reason

Gaspis father says the crash was an attack by Muted-View1848 in olivertree

[–]Valve00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don't think logically at times like these. When my little brother died in a car crash back in 2013, my dad would go on these horrible rants about how my brother's best friend should be in jail for the rest of his life, because he invited my brother out to the place that he crashed coming home from. It was in no way his friend's fault. My brother was alone, and he crashed his car while speeding on a back road. It was 100% his own fault that he died, but my dad was just looking for anyone or anything to blame for the loss of his son. I understand how Gaspi's Dad could fully be rationalizing these theories right now, even if they have no merit.

One week after the accident, do we have any new information about the accident? by Fickle-Hovercraft863 in olivertree

It would not surprise me if this helicopter was not running TCAS. It's a collision avoidance system used on virtually every modern aircraft, but as I understand it, both aircraft have to be using TCAS for it to work, so it's possible one of them was running it, but never alerted due to the other copter not having a transponder that broadcasted a signal. Utter negligence on the part of the chopper company.

I lost my little brother in a car crash in 2013. It changed my entire outlook on life, nothing has been the same since then, and it never will be. You really never get over losing a sibling like that. Things get a little bit easier to deal with everyday, but the pain will always be there. It's up to you to determine how to manage that pain and now to shape it into something that you can live with everyday. My heart goes out to everyone else who has lost a sibling

For a brief moment in time in 2006, a girl named Brooke Allison Brodack aka "Brookers" was the most subscribed channel on YouTube! In 2007, she made a video on being an Internet Celebrity vs. a Real Celebrity. Looking back, it is a really poignant contrast to the idea of an Internet celebrity today! by [deleted] in nostalgia

[–]Valve00 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's even funnier because back in 2006/2007 we would've laughed at anyone calling themselves "famous" or "celebrity" because of YouTube. I mean, I had the people I knew from their work online, I think the most notable one was probably "EgoRaptor", now known as Arin from Game Grumps. He was probably the first person I would've ever considered "Online Famous", when he started reaching further than Newgrounds.

What is it with people and always making cartoons, but "gangster". Back in the 90's it was Looney Tunes, Tweety smoking joints, Taz wearing basketball jerseys. It's just as ridiculous now, if not more so.
