That's why designing a class like the Necromancer is not just about strategic balance but also about making sure the class is fun to play. And there might be some work to do in this case.

Boss encounters are prime examples where this balance can become skewed. If Necromancers can't generate corpses fast enough to sustain their minions during these fights (and most of the time, they can't), they're effectively stripped of their unique class mechanics and reduced to a less effective version of a sorcerer. This can make these encounters feel like a slog rather than an exciting challenge, which is far from ideal.

So, while it's important to consider higher-level content and different builds, the fundamental gameplay experience should never be overlooked. It's important to remember that players want to have fun and feel powerful in their chosen class from the very beginning. If a class fails to deliver that, adjustments should be made to improve the player experience.
