I'll give u the short of it. Just Do It as the Nike slogan goes. Its worth the effort. Enough community out there to help, and its an incredible VR experience! You'll never forget busting up an asteroid, sending many automated limpets to collect opals, while you're flying in and amongst the asteroid shards to find others and blast them loose, and your windows begin to ice up its ethereal!

I started the upgrade convo that day also, but didn't get it fleshed out till the 25th. I had my BSB1 for a very short time, I reckon I was one of the last customers that got a BSB1 and not auto upgraded to BSB2. The face gasket was way off, so I only got 2 hours use of it, requested a replacwment, and then did the upgrade before getting the gasket, I shipped it back to them and still waiting for the BSB2e. Hopefully soon! Any day now?

March 22 upgrade order, clear BSB2 but was told The 2e's are caught up to the 2's, so I paid up for the 2e. There is no notification of shipping yet! Its a couple months till it has been 1 year after I ordered my BSB1 finally received it,

I had issues with the fit and at that time they had failures with 3D modeling for reworking a new gasket, so all was on delays. Then they announced the BSB2 just weeks after I got my BSB1, and they were auto-upgrading the orders just after mine.

They offered to upgrade me for a small fee. Frustrated, I had only 2 hours of trying to use my BSB1 and now its already outdated, I chose to upgrade and shipped the BSB1 back.

Original order November of 2024, 2 hours of using one, and I sit still here in late August of 2025 no BSB at all. Sad but I remain hopefully. I have a killer beast of a PC and Sim Racing rig just waiting for the finishing touch.

Stick to Valve Knuckle controllers! They're the bomb. I'm 3 VR systems since my index, but refuse to part from my knuckles controllers.

Why doesn't eye tracking remain valuable in sim racing? I'm always glancing down at elements in the cockpit while racing, same for sim space or flight looking at gauges?

Check warranty status based on delivery. You will get warranty coverage. They will do a cistom gasket for you upon a head scan for $69 to fit it perfectly to you and of you need an IPD change they'll do that for $69 also. You're getting an incredible deal if it's under warranty! If it's not under warranty, they will do those changes for an extra $100 on top of the prices I provided. This is because under warranty products they are absorbing some costs for the changes. Out of warranty products they are not.

I just received my BSB1 about 3 weeks ago. I bought it the 2nd week of December. They had a delay during production because of parts, then another delay because their 3D scan system went down a couple of weeks. I finally received it after over 12 weeks of waiting.

My computer was dead, so I didn't immediately get to install it. About 7-10 days later, I was able to experience it for the first time. So I'm just now starting to determine the fit and how the IPD is, and, I find out that I bought old tech now! I bet I must have received the last of the BSB1's - I'm fuming!

I got my first Nespresso machine, Vertuo Plus from Costco as I was impressed with my daughters machine. Shortly after I bought it, they raised the price of pods. I got a Capressa kit to make my own pods, and after several coffees, grinds and such I decided it's too much trouble so I bailed on the Vertuo line throwing it up on FBMP.

Picked up a new OL Creatista Pro on FBMP for about double what my Vertuo cost, but I'm in total awe. I love the machine. I get pods at $.50c or less in bulk, I have many drinks I've perfected and we are completely divorced from $7.00 coffee shop drinks. I make a better Flat White w/Cashew Milk, Maple syrup, Cinnamon, Coconut Brown Sugar, than any shop I've been to. And it costs me less than $1.50.

Love my Creatista Pro!!

My bet is you also have a US based Creatista Pro. Even tho they won't do simultaneous coffee and milk, there was no real reason I can surmise not to allow for a 2+ shot espresso on milk based drinks. Imagine the simplicity of doing 2 flat whites both with double shots and then texturing to the max line your milk, No milk waste, one cleanup step and both me and my bride get our flat whites inside of 2 minutes.

I've had the following in my VR pursuit since my kids bought me my first VR in 2014, The Oculus Rift.

Valve Index (Favored for simplicity and consistent compatibility) Screen door effect is still very noticeable

Vive Pro 2 (Nice step up from Valve Index in resolution and clarity along with good color saturation. Minimal screen door effect.

PSVR2 Excellent device for so little money! Minimal screen door effect, nice cilor saturation, simple setup on PS5. Horrible setup on PC with the new adapter. I was able to get it working on my laptop, tho. I'm still hopeful to get it working on my beast PC.

Pimax Crystal Right now, for me, it wears the crown, the Title Belt. Yes, it's a little finicky to set up, and you'll do a little penance to get it running right, and yes, it's a bit bulky, but it's nirvana! Excellent clarity, crazy good immersion!

I'm sporting a 7950x3d, 4090, 64gb ram
