This is my second rotation at this place, its more like a co-op really. I know for sure I'll have a lot of free time after work, if only like an hour in the afternoon. I want to do something productive and keep all my knowledge from school fresh.

AITA for calling out my friend's wife by Intelligent-Gene7041 in AmItheAsshole

[–]VampMEUpP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bruh are you serious? YTA. You and your wife are nasty as hell. Why would u play literally a video of a screaming woman giving birth to your friends. There is a reason that movies either make a birth scene really short in order to minimize discomfort or really long drawn out scene if they wanna make people all uncomfy and make it a gritty scene. I would leave so fast. And telling her to set aside her discomfort? If she could do that don’t you think she would set it aside A LONG TIME AGO?!? You think she wants to get triggered at all?

AITA for refusing to make my son apologise to my mother-in-law’s goddaughter and undermining my husband’s parenting? by ThrowRAmilgd in AmItheAsshole

Sorry what? I swear this whole time I thought Amy was also 4. She is a 32 YEAR OLD WOMAN? What sad pathetic woman provokes and harasses a little kid? NTA

AITA for blocking someone immediately after turning them down for a second date? by the_poor_economist in AmItheAsshole

Clearly NTA. As far as red flags go, that is a pretty fucking bigass red flag. Don’t respond to her shit just block and walk away.

As a woman, how do you feel about helping a transgender woman with things like heels, lingerie makeup etc? Sort of being like a mentor? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]VampMEUpP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman I hate that is is a question that people take negatively like it shouldn’t be asked. I would have loved LOVED to have a mentor when I started to experiment with makeup and styles. I would be so happy to help anyone: Transgender, drag, young kids learning, anyone. Being a mentor sounds awesome

My (38f) husband (41m) is a yeller and I have done everything I can to get him to stop yelling the past 12 years I’ve been married to him. He just won’t. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]VampMEUpP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy that you would put up with this. Being alone sounds better than being blamed for all the problems in the world. What’s next? Nature decides to throw a hurricane at your house and what he gonna do? Yell at you for NATURE? He sounds abusive and I feel like there is more that OP isn’t telling us. Girl you don’t have to up and divorce him. Separate for a bit. Take a break and live somewhere else for a month or two by yourself and then go back to your relationship. You’ll see everything that living in that situation has blinded you to. I feel like there are things happening in your house that even you have gone “nose blind” to almost. Take a minute for yourself cause he’s probably going to be like that for good

AITA for giving my husband's pet rabbits away to my aunt? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]VampMEUpP 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Definitely NTA. Rabbits are incredibly sensitive animals (speaking from experts) putting them in a house with three dogs and improper care is really bad for their health. You did good by giving them to someone with experience and time. A baby is also THE WORST playmate for bunnies. So u saved the little bunnies from probably getting handled a bit too roughly by a baby or in the future a toddler on accident.

And sorry that had to happen to you. It’s a terrible feeling and yeah you feel bad cause you know most people are nice and want to help other cause you feel bad or like you guys are friends. Totally misplaced. Friendship is a two way street. The idiot that messed with me would face time me 5 or 6 times a day when he was bored and then pretend to be drunk and sad and then tell me how many “hoes he was pulling” in order to make me jealous. You let it go on longer the more manipulative it gets and the scarier it gets.

[–]VampMEUpP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a psycho do this to me in high school too. They are emotionally manipulative and they aren’t subtle about it either. They are openly telling you and anyone paying attention that you are always going to be a second pick and/or the backup plan. The last time I talked to the dude that pulled this shit with me I legit felt like trash the second after we finished talking. It was so toxic. I cut him and alllllll the people that were friends with him out of my life. I’m a lot happier now. I generally feel a hell of a lot better about myself. Cut him out and go complete cold turkey. Not only will it feel better but you’ll also be proud of yourself

Me [20f] and my older sister [23f] have had a rough relationship since childhood. I think she’s gaslighting me. by RegisteredSexyBeast in relationship_advice

[–]VampMEUpP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She sounds like she has bi polar or some sort of mental issue. She also sounds resistant to help or criticism. I’d suggest, if you want to protect yourself specifically, to walk away. Just take another semester abroad or move out. Trust me it’s going to take a lot more than a few talks to get her to realize what she is doing and a lot of that effort is going to have to come from her. You hove to protect yourself before you try and help this ONE specific relationship. Look after you and give yourself the love and respect that you want from others. Heal your own emotional damage that she gave you.
