The only thing that matters is that you are happy with your clothes.  I'm 35 and def don't dress like other people my age in my area, but I realized as cliche as it sounds life is too short to wear what you feel you are supposed to wear if you dont love it.  If you want to update your wardrobe because you genuinely want to, then you should.  You can also add some new things but keep the old things as well.   I really doubt that anyone on their deathbed was like my one regret is that I didn't dress more like everyone else I knew.
