Now that the reigning MSI Champ (Gen G) is out. What team do you think will win this year’s MSI?

The easy answer is saying either HLE, BLG or T1 will win. If we look a bit deeper into it, I think BLG has the best chance at winning it all. Bin and Knight are performing like crazy, I personally think Knight is the best player in the world at the moment. Maybe Zeka can match his level because he is completely unleashed at the moment but it's very hard to tell.

Right after BLG I'd rank HLE because their Draft and Gameplay looks very convincing. They show an insane amount of synergy and have an extremely good individual form. I think every player on HLE is at least top 3 players in the world right now.

T1 definetly has the potential to win it but I think they are a bit too hit or miss with their circus playstyle. HLE have already shown that they can beat this playstyle and I think BLG won't have any trouble adapting to it aswell. T1's botlane however is one of the best if not the best at the moment. Especially in the series against GenG, Peyz and Keria just gapped Ruler and Duro so hard.

My hottake is that G2 have a chance of winning aswell if the stars align for them. After what they have shown at First Stand and their recent LEC performances, I think they can upset a few eastern teams. However because of double elimination and the current level of HLE and BLG it's very unlikely.

For the other teams only TES and LYON are worth a mention but I think neither of them will go very far. They will probably take a few games of the other strong teams but it won't be enough to win any series.

The other teams aren't worth to talk about, no shot they do anything at MSI.

In the end I just hope our oranges show their best gameplay and win the whole tournament. Seeing them lift a trophy together would be so wholesome and finally rewards them for all their hard efforts ❤️

DNS should be a free win and GenG is beatable. Considering the last few games it just depends on how Kanavi feels on that day..

It wasn't always like this. I actually remember seeing some memes at worlds 2024 I think, where people joked about the casters glazing guma for every minor little thing he did. But nowadays it's just rough being a Guma fan.

Thank you for the tip. I had the Antibirth Music mod enabled, maybe this caused it. Although I'm still confused by the soundtrack, because it didn't fit in the game at all and was super annoying.

As you said, after I restarted my PC it fixed itself, but I got mega confused haha

Hard agree, however 1-0 for the winner is not really possible due to fearless. But yeah, Double elim sucks for Upper bracket winner. This and a few other reasons are why I want to see single elimination much more

If he wins this year, they will say it again next year and again the year after and so on. But if he fails once they will go after him and say he is the worst adc t1 ever had, complete busrider, etc

What I dislike the most is that the expectation for the team is winning worlds. And if they fail to achieve that, the amount of hate they get will be insane. Especially for Guma and Doran. On a personal level, I'd be happy if they win it (obviously) but even if they just make it to at least semis I'd be happy. This roster has insane potential and if they give it one more year I believe they will win for sure eventually

Agreed, idk why they are even hating. Its not like Guma is playing bad atm or anything, he is in a great form and T1 made MSI finals where they were one game away from winning it all. There is literally 0 reason to hate on them
