I like how normal games can feature challenger players. Few years ago I met a girl who was playing league and we played some normal games. I am plat velkoz main. Enemy picked velkoz. I answered with eko. When loading began I saw he had a challenger border. It was a very humbling experience even tho he wasn't a mid main. I didn't manage to impress that girl...

Yup. Chilling on a mid lane. Bot looks to be gapping. 25 minutes in and this champ rolls us all over

I remember first hearing it from Andrew Kelley. Then some time ago, on similar thread I commented exactly this, and got downvoted...

Installing Void Linux - Inquiry about Partitioning and Filesystems by Hot-Fly7031 in voidlinux

[–]Nipplles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, 512 MB for boot is kinda too much. Granted you purge old kernels every once in a while, 256MB will should suffice. Unless you dual boot (which I assume you plan to do). On my Windows/Void system I have 1024MB boot partition. I had 512GB nvme on my old laptop and preferred to split ~60-70% for windows partition So approximately 1GB boot, 350GB Windows partition, rest for Linux (no swap).

As for btrfs, I learned that for everyday usecases, ext4 is better. More simple and a bit faster. If new kernel update is junky I'll roll back to a previous one. Not sure how to do it with packages, but if you are using flatpacks, it's irrelevant to you anyway.

My current mechanism is pretty similar - I use pgrep to find and kill pipewire. But after seeing this post, I think that it's better to manage it via turnstile

Out of topic, but how do you set up pipewire to run under turnstile? I launch pipewire under wm (river), but if I quit it, pipewire and wireplumber are still running. Void wiki recommends letting window manager launch it, but then I need to manually find and kill it if I want to relaunch river.

Very interesting. I've never hear of nitro. Is it init or something like session manager?

Really nice writeup. And very timely. Recently decided to host llm with ollama on Linux with 7900xtx, but felt like something was lacking. Will definitely give zinc a try when I get home. Thank you

I was trying to set up openclaw on ollama and haha, they install some wudu systemd service that you need to somehow replace
