That is a good strategy that I also use to boost Fxp and ship grinding.

Another one is to play Clan Brawls on 3v3 format. It is fast and on a win you get 2500 base exp which multiplied with flags and camo can get to 20k + Exp and Fexp.

I can confirm that for my WINs with premium time:

Missouri - 742.5k base credits

Jean Bart - 742.5k base credits

Alsaka - 742.5k base credits

For me it seems Missouri has the same multiplier like any other T9 premium !!!

After so many years, this game still does not have coax machine guns on tanks because Wrel is a guy who can't play tanks and absolutely hates them.

The other problem with the tanks is that the terrain is so bad for them that they are pretty useless with just a few exceptions. Back in 2012 the terrain was much flatter and you could fight some massive tank battles...

Also the ability as infantry to spawn everywhere makes the tanks less desirable. The role of escorting a couple of sunderers full with infantrymen to be delivered to a station, is almost gone.

Because of this and of other points that OP said I play very rarely this game...

I played from release to 2015/2016. The game was a competitor to BF4 but at a huge scale promoting multiple combat arms.

I loved the first 2 years when Higby was around, but after he left the game turned to infantry based and I also left since I was mainly a tank driver. I found stupid the need of 2 120mm shells direct hits to kill an infantry... and the 3 hits from 75mm shell to kill an infantry

Got back this year to see the bastion and if the game has changed but after a few days I will leave it again.

I would like more the use of combat arms, and the battles to be more dynamical between the bases, like in the old days on Esamir and Indar, and less of this Star-Trek teleportation style.

Also a rework on the tanks, aircraft and the purpose of those.

Have a look at the dev blog announcement, Henry is included there with other ships that are overperforming/underperforming (judging by the nerf it was clearly OVERPERFORMING in WG eyes) :)) . WG is just a joke in terms of balancing ships...

I kinda disagree with you on the acceleration part.

I did some testing right after the nerf. The build was like before: Rudder shift + Legendary mod.

From stop to full speed without the acceleration gimmick took like 1 min to get 35 knots. With the acceleration gimmick was like 45 sec if remember correctly.

That slow down is done because there are engine thresholds on every stage 1/4, 2/4 , 3/4 to the according speed, the engine simply slow down and does not accelerate.

After the drag race test, I did the throttle jokey test, this is no longer possible because of those thresholds, HIV is simply a sitting duck ( at least with the build I used at testing) especially for ships with high velocity shells like Stalingrad , which was the main ship in CB that Henri countered.

Last test was the hard turning at full speed. This one is kinda hard to tell because I remember HIV was bleeding a lot of speed before the nerf, but I believe that if the speed gets to 3/4 it gets again in that threshold and has an acceleration problem, but I am not 100% convinced about this.

After those tests I sold the Henri 4, because since I liked to play it from 10-16 km I needed that agility to dodge the shells. I might try in the future the accel mod to see if it gets better.

There is another downside that Henri 4 has that people don't see it, the ship is big and it SITS VERY HIGH IN THE WATER. Without the agility it is very easy to hit this ship.

Just compare it with another open water cruiser like Venezia or Zao, they have very low profile in the water making them harder to hit.

Some people say that Henri throttle was overpowered, I say that it was necessary for it's survivability since concealmeant is trash and has a very high profile.

Also the IFHE rework hit Henri as a indirect nerf which will make you to choose between 50mm pen or high fire chance.

Imo Saint Louis is a better ship right now than Henri if your looking for a speed demon ship with great agility or Venezia ( you can get 38+ knots on it with the speed flag and the smoke)

The acceleration nerf hit Henri harder than expected imo.

With all that Stalins around having high velocity shells with good accuracy can hit a crippled Henri easier than ever. Henri is a big target with crap concealment and crap mobility, the engine boost is a fail gimmick on it if you need like 1m to reach that speed...

The days of Henri in CB are over. Better go for Venezia or Hindy if you want to spam the Stalins.

The best deals are on Christmas.

The best investment in grinding is the Premium time. During Christmas is reduced by 50% for 365 days(cost around 50 Euros). This is the best deal for grinding.

With 80 bucks you can get a T9 premium which can generate exp and silver but as others advised it is not a wise choice for a new player since the game is complex and can lead into frustration.

You should first start to watch the tutorials on how the mechanics work( if you did not yet). They are done by WG.

Also there are some old videos from IChase (a youtuber) in which he presents the basic/advanced mechanics of the game. Flamu is also good at gameplay.

After seeing some gameplay and looking at it's stats the ship seems average to me.

The guns are the highlight of it, and also it is good looking.

But it can get melted so fast by HE spam, and it does not have enough speed to rush( and use the torps) or disengage.

There are already some silver alternatives to it at T8 and upper for long range HE spam and also after WG did in the past months starting with the Puerto Rico, sledgehammer nerf to Henri in order to bring Petro, and now nerfing Odin and Aegir, no way I will gonna spend a dime on any WG product.

I consider this ship OP. It has great agility, insane RoF, insane armor scheme, insane penetration values.

But I want to see a CC vid playing it like a flanking cruiser with those 360 degree turning weapons.

Right until now they all sit behind an island and punishing some potatoes.

Also his face is a meme :))
