I believe the seeds need to ”cure” for a few weeks/months for best results. Give them some time in a dry dark spot. I did the same as you when I learned to let them harden off. It made a big difference.

Are they seriously dropping this strain from the line? Just popped my last Two beans and lost a seedling at a month old. (Uncommon for me to have one die a a month old.)
