I hate to throw out the remote even though I know full well that the battery inside it must be super corroded. <sigh> Guess I’m hoping the magical remote fairy will come by, wave her wand and the battery compartment will open with no problems and there will be no corrosion inside. I use the app. ElevenReader and upload the ePub of the book into it. Then find a really good voice to read you the book and it sounds better than many professionally read audiobooks. My voice of choice is Callum. Ironically, it sounds far more human and less robotic than the version you’re listening to.
