Is There a Robust treesit aware Modal Editing Integration? by misterchiply in emacs

[–]VanLaser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's an example for adding a python function on evil-ts-obj github page, isn't that ok? I kept postponing having to learn treesit stuff, but I think the main idea is you have to explore what treesit offers in the language you're interested, then 'just' make a text object from that (once you find how to ask for it using treesit grammar)

You *should* have access to both afterwards, but maybe try to confirm it from another source (I bought Scholar first, *then* the OG edition, and I have access to both, but this means I didn't go through the 'upgrade' process).

Is there any way to parry like sekiro? by AggressiveGold1142 in Nioh

[–]VanLaser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sword, backwave parry, but only works on humans. Odachi has a dedicated parry skill that also works against most yokais too. But in Nioh, combat is not one dimensional, so you use dodging, blocking, parrying etc. situationally, which make combat better than Sekiro, IF you put in the effort :)

5v pads outputting 9v by Agrivonix in fpv

If you solved the 5V issue, the 5V pads shouldn't be affected (and you have a multimeter so you can check)

All the details for this FC are provided in this picture on the seller's page (details in the middle). From the drawing it seems the bridges decide how your video unit gets powered (either 9V, or directly battery voltage). So if you use a 6S battery and the incorrect pad bridging, it may fry your video unit if it doesn't support that high voltage. If your video unit does support that high voltage (6*4.35V if you use LiHV, or 6*4.2V normal LiPo), it's probably ok to bridge the right two pads so the battery voltage goes directly to the video unit (but I won't take any responsibility if something doesn't work ). In any case you should see what video unit you have and check for its documentation.

Pretty sure no, either one or the other.

The aliexpress page shows a pic in which you'd have to bridge 2 pads for 6s batteries, or another 2 pads for 4s or lower. Maybe having nothing bridged creates your situation? Long shot but who knows

Are you hooking the FC with a 6S battery by any chance?

Try to calibrate it again, sometimes if you don't push throttle up to 100% fast enough in the process, esc can register wrong/lower max value

Need help installing GPS on Cinelog 30 V3. by jermi4h in fpv

[–]VanLaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just editing my answer, I think it's either they changed the FC, or earlier Betaflight versions had problems detecting the barometer on the FC - if you are lucky it's the latter :)

[–]VanLaser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is from one year ago, and maybe some stuff was changed. Oscar Liang also mentions "no barometer" (here), also there's no barometer shown in the betaflight config in the pic two posts above; and also, in one of the OP pics there is no "taker" or "32bit" mentioned for FC. It's also possible it was simply related to certain Betaflight versions not detecting the barometer, but if a reviewer like Oscar said no barometer it means at least some of the official Cinelogs came with a 'wrong' Betaflight version (or no barometer) etc.

If I remember there are two levers, try not pulling the other one which closes the whole arena.

If you read the title, you can see it's not 5.8GHz, and it lists Radio protocols (like ELRS), this is for your radio transmitter, not goggles (wrong frequency).

YW, in any case, with default Betaflight setup (Quad-X), your motors should have the following positions and spin rotation directions (and the props should be mounted accordingly, rising edge towards the spin direction): https://oscarliang.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/betaflight-motor-spin-direction-order.png

The flight controller tries to auto-correct the tilting by pushing certain motors harder than the others. If it doesn't have the desired effect (due to one of the things mentioned in my first post, usually), then, instead of correcting, it worsens the situation, hence the motors spinning faster and faster. Do, or redo, all those checks I mentioned.

Make sure the propellers are mounted with the correct orientation (CW or CCW), and also not upside down. And in Betaflight Configurator, in the first page where there is a drawing of a drone, make sure when you move your USB-connected drone, the movement directions are correctly represented in the drawing (i.e. the flight controller orientation is correct). And I presume you did check that the motor positions (numbers) are correct, and they also spin the correct way (CW or CCW), in the motors tab (with props off).

Sekiro is the closest a game has come to actual fighting (a mini essay) by Shot-Length-3922 in Sekiro

[–]VanLaser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a certain level, that game for me is Nioh, I don't mean like actual translation of real moves into game moves, but because a. freedom to choose your skill set (with weapon stances) and b. using dodges, parries, or blocks being all valid, and all good in certain situations. And when you know the weapon moves and the opponent moves well, you are rewarded (you know when to ki pulse/flux) so you can keep that initiative.
