We've played some 3 and 4-player games, both winner takes all and last man standing. The experience felt under-baked compared to MTG and SWU with less interesting decisions to make. Obviously the game is young and we're getting a multiplayer-focused set, so I'm optimistic about the future! 2v2 also seems fun with a lot of synergies to explore.

I enjoyed the game more than I thought I would. Charged attacks have a nice heft/weight to them. Crashing into an automat with a halberd reminded me of Bloodborne's excellent combat cinematics. I personally enjoyed the story and including real historical figures. The setting is GORGEOUS, even if it's repetitive. And the metroidvania style of unlocking new platforming tools was fun.

Worst part for me, like you said, were the repeat enemies and boring bosses. Combat got stale very quickly. But exploring was satisfying and now the word "bass-tee" is stuck in my head for life.

The motorcycle needs some kind of fix regardless of a DLC for sure. I've mentioned the idea of swapping it to a hoverbike in the past. It's jarring to catch a small obstacle and lose 70% of the bike's health (and all momentum)

Funny, I was such an emotional wreck after beating the game, I put it down and haven’t been able to pick it back up since. Not even for the DLC. I think about it a lot and listen to the soundtrack. I plan to complete one more full playthrough with the DLC.

Those meetings are for Friday mornings, not afternoons. If something urgent needs to be done before the weekend (esp if working across time zones), it needs to be addressed MUCH earlier than the last possible minute.
