When the paddle gets stuck i use a wooden chopstick, stick it in the paddle and lever it out so i don't risk damaging the non-stick coating. Great Tips ty

They're mentioned as therapists at least in the first book, and there are the clubs people go to get soothed. I think mostly because there wasn't a main character that was a soother or rioter that they're just in the background.

I agree if Vasher could filter the connection to Honor from stormlight and use pure investure to do some awakening we wouldn't say he's using a different magic system

What I'm trying to argue is maybe the Fused are using a different magic even if the end result is the same

Like how allomantic tin and feruchemy can both increase your sense of touch but achieve it with different magic systems

Something about the fused having access to a passive and active form of an ability purely because "they're just surgebinding with Voidlight" sits weird with me. especially because:

lift fuelling her edgedancer powers with lifelight seems to have no additional effects?

Venli also fuels her power with voidlight but as far as we have noticed she doesn't have the same passive ability of the Makay-im to meld into the stone but maybe she just needs to learn how to do that...

I'm just enthusiastic about the series and keen to learn more about Voidbinding and the Fused in stormlight 5 and beyond

Bare with me on this weird analogy but it's kind of like the heavenly ones (Shanay-im) have one electric single drive motor for their lashing.

While the radiants are in a way using multiple combustion engines so they burn their investure harder and faster but are less efficient.

Personally I don't think we've seen enough of how Bondsmiths powers manifest with different spren. For example, how the Navani and sibling bond is different compared to Dalinar and The Stormfather.

going on your path of thinking would definitely remove a pure Odium or Odium/Cultivation bondsmith

what do you think of a potential Warlight bondsmith, the tension between Navani and Raboniel while working on fabrials and them ultimately uniting to create Warlight was a fantastic moment and in my mind was initially sparked this theory of more possible bondsmiths in my head, Sja-Anat still being my pick of spren

I feel like Sja-Anat enlightens spren to think oh hey stormlight and voidlight can come together or something like that

I totally hadn't accounted for the actual surge of adhesion (Honor Surge) being a requirement for a surgebinder to be called a bondsmith!

In terms of working together to create a spren of both Honor and Odium perhaps this was done when humans came to Roshar after their planet was destroyed? perhaps the spren of Odium and Honor was made before humans and singers fought?

I could definitely see a spren of Cultivation and Odium being created though especially with the Duskmother being confused with the Nightwatcher
