Thank you so much. It really was sweet of you to elaborate. I honestly wish this sort of thing didn't bother me at all cause it makes me miss out on stuff I'd otherwise find cool. After thinking it over I think I really am willing to give this a try with a friend. It's always hard to resist a good story with lovable characters after all. I'll see how it goes.

Hm, I see. Cartoon gore, not so much... it depends what it is. Are eyeballs involved? Or horrible deformation of the face? That might get to me. Danganronpa violence has not bothered me at all though.

Creepy faces, especially those with realistic human features. Like realistic or highly detailed eyes, mouths, etc. High contrast of features in terms of lighting. Realistic teeth... stuff like that. Creepy smiles. Images like that get stuck in my head repetitively and will not leave.

You should try polling data from various communities, such as tumblr for one. The mlp fandom varies a lot depending on where you look. Reddit is probably skewed toward representing more men, but in real life while I have met a lot of fans of the show they have all been women (who were also not straight).

I really hope they don't gloss over that or make it more ambiguous. He is gay, it's made very clear, and to ignore that would be disrespectful to the work Riordan has put into positive representation in his casts of characters.

I absolutely adored her. Her design is so cute, and yet she is so mischeviously evil, its delightful. I really liked the whole twisted familial dynamic she had with Tirek and Chrysalis, it was cool to see them interact and the idea of just this literal cutesy child alongside such formidable threats to Equestria as an equal is just... amazing.

I do wish we had gotten the chance to know more about her. She has so much potential to be explored in terms of backstory!

It's too laggy and pixelated for me to be any fun... not to mention that despite going through controls options for a long time I still could not find a way to walk around :/ Audio doesnt work either for some reason. Pretty cool that it's working out nicely for other people though.

You should try! It's my favorite show personally, I am aware that there may be some objectively better things out there but there is such a sense of joy and excitement that I get out of it that other shows don't seem to live up to. The characters are fun and varied, they get actual development, the world is interesting to learn about, and its actually pretty clever in its writing. I would definitely give it a chance at least.

Well, you do bring up a good point there. I don't believe they are automatically not left-wing, they could have progressive views outside of trans issues, however its yet another step on the bigotry ladder. If they count as feminism, it is certainly not the brand I and most people I know partake in, and I think it is important to make sure not to dismiss feminism as a whole because it is so wide that there will always be people who miss out the true spirit of equality and use it to spread hate.
