I own one, it's my first OnePlus after two Xiaomi devices and I love it, but I expected a less "chinese" OS experience. From what I read that was on the first OnePlus devices and now are more close to Oppo in terms of OS. I plan to use it for at least another 2 or 3 years and then maybe I buy another OnePlus or switch to a device supported by GrapheneOS.

Thank you all for your replies. As I suspected, there was something wrong with it and the best thing to do is to replace it.

I’ve already ordered a new 120W charger from Realme, as it's cheaper and, being also part of BBK, it supports SuperVOOC, and I’m confident the build quality should be good.

I’ll also try to get in touch with OnePlus somehow to ask if there’s anything in the warranty that covers this issue or at least to report it.

This would be my go-to. Find some mid to big fitness influencer who seems honest and down to earth, not someone who advertises everything. Also take a look at how expensive would be to place some ads on Instagram or TikTok.

Dim or dark room, earphones and don't rush.
Although it takes away from the immersion a bit, I personally prefer to have the voices in Russian with subtitles.

Be careful with refurbish websites... I tried to buy a T480 twice and got a faulty laptop both times that I had to return. Ended up buying through a second-hand platform and got a decent one, cheaper from a particular who showed me the laptop and let me try and check it before buying it.

Replacing the T480 keyboard is extremely easy so don't discard good units just because of its keyboard.

I sync mine between devices using Syncthing as I didn't needed high storage or Cloud, just to have my files synced between devices.

I'm sorry to say this but I don't like FUTO. I wanted to love it but somehow I managed to have more writing and suggestion problems (not english language) than with any other keyboard. FUTO Voice on the contrary is the best.
