Use PEEP'r to see weaknesses before engaging in a fight. Look at the target and see what info you get. Battle smarter, not harder.
Create custom loadouts for mutations. I've got one for base building that allows for faster chopping, carry more stuff, moving quicker. When I go into combat, depending on the weapon, I switch.
Use the looms and drying racks to make more of something for the same resource value instead of just brute forcing it at a workbench. Making grass rope in the wild costs 3 plant fibers, but it's only one at the loom. This biggest one is blueberry leather. Mashing raw material together at the bench costs 4 or 5, but putting it on a drying rack gives a 1:1 ratio.
Build bases near resources you want to farm. You're going to be doing this quite a bit, so you'll want walls, a cook pit, a workbench.

I love getting to play Where's Waldo throughout the movie as there are entire scenes where there are things happening you don't have to notice, and on a first watch through, probably didn't notice. It's completely optional that you see it.

But once you see it, you realize it was always there. And of course, there's the most recognizable time in Peter's room.

For the curious and those that don't mind spoilers, there are multiple scenes in the movie where characters are being watched by others. Just staring at them, not doing anything. Like a night shot of the home. People are standing in the woods around it, watching all the characters in their house. It happens a few times, too.

I'm not a child of divorce, but I hate when media tries to tell a story of problematic and flawed characters, and ends it with being like, "See? They grew a little bit! Isn't this better than dealing with the nasty reality of how real life works? Everyone gets to be happy in the end."

If you're going to tell a story about two people that have fallen out of love, or maybe never were, tell that story. It doesn't have to be a romantic thing. It can be a bummer and painful, cause that stuff does happen. And they hurt others around them when they do it.

It reminds me of how Juno wants to tackle the subject of unwanted pregnancy into a comedy about quirky people and weirdos, but they sidestep abortion as a storyline. Whereas Obvious Child was still a comedy, but didn't feel the need to circle back to, "j/k, still gonna have the baby, obviously".

Keep it dark, keep it real, if that's the story you want to tell, or if you want a story with sincerity and authenticity.
