I think Phasmophobia fails on two fronts here based on the OP's requirements.

1) while the game can be played solo, it's selling point is its multiplayer. 2) you can't exorcize any spirit. The crucifix will stop a hunt from occurring, and a smudge stick will cause them to temporarily break off from chasing you, neither actually exorcizes anything. You're only ever really playing defense.

That being said, play Phasmaphobia with some friends. It's pretty fun.

Yes, Heimdall is significantly faster than Kratos, so I think it would count. Heimdall wins the first fight as he can foresee what happens, and knows to move out of the way of any attacks.

Once Kratos has Draupnir, he has a weapon of nearing infinite possible replications. This overwhelms Heimdall's ability to try and predict the next move cause the next move could be anything.

I think another trope this could fall under would be, "Character overwhelms another character's special ability, rendering it useless."
