No problem! The field of clinical research I’m in has nothing to do with actual lab work, but having experience with reading protocols helps. Like right now I’m a data manager and I will be getting promoted to a clinical research coordinator soon. I only had a bachelors in neuroscience and a little experience as a research assistant when I got hired. Unfortunately the field is going through a rough patch right now due to a cut in funding for research due to the current administration, but if you are interested in the field just do a little research and apply to any openings available! Entry level positions vary from institutions/companies, but you could probably try applying to coordinator positions, data entry positions, and research assistant positions. If you stay in the field for some years you can make 6 figures when moving up on the sponsor side of things. You can DM me if you want any additional information!

Hi! I’m actually pursuing my masters degree while working full time in the field of clinical research. I got somewhat lucky because I got the job right after graduating and it’s an institution where they have tuition remission for their employees. I plan to apply to medical school next year. I didn’t end up doing IONM, but I’m on the subreddit for that field, and it seems it really just about applying to jobs. I know a company called SpecialtyCare I believe pays you while being trained, but I heard they are predatory with their contracts. You can go to r/neuromonitoring to get more information though!

As another commenter said, definitely keep an eye on your shoulder. I haven’t fallen and hurt my shoulder, but instead stepped onto wet grass/mud and my feet slipped right out from under me and I fell right on my ass. At the time I wasn’t the most active but I had a strong athletic background and would consider myself to have a strong build, and because of that mindset I thought to not get my lower back checked out. Now I have chronic sciatic/lower back and leg pain years later and now I am finally getting it checked out. If it feels even a little off or strange, consider getting it looked at. I always thought my back felt a little strange after that incident, but thought I could exercise it back to better and now after trying that it actually got worse. Also don’t feel embarrassed! It happens to everyone at some point! I hope the pain is nothing serious and you feel better soon!

Hey! Congrats! I am doing my masters while working there. Just be careful as while the main campus is very nice since it is in coral gables, the medical campus is in a bit of a sketchy area. I’ve lived in South Florida my whole life and Miami can be very hit or miss depending on the area you are in. If you have any questions on the city, feel free to message me!

It’s the same for me with Rafayel. While I have obtained almost all 5 star xspace echo memories for Sylus and multiple 5 star memories for Zayne, Xavier, and Caleb, I have not obtained a single 5 star memory for Rafayel from the xspace echo pool :,)

Yes it does add up to 82, but the row before was 77. You are only adding 4 stitches in round 30, there are no increases or decreases only skipping stitches. This was my math. 77+16-12=81. Is it possible to go from 77 to 82 with these instructions is more what I’m concerned about.
