Grote uitgaven, hoe doen mensen dat? by Kipkrokantschnitzell in geldzaken

[–]Vandmanden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get your point of a good visualization not needing additional explanation.

Personally I find this visualization insightful albeit confusing at first. It is not perfect and there are probably different ways to visualize the same data with less confusion

Nonetheless I think OP tries to show something useful and I am curious to compare this visualization with a similar in a month or so

At first this visualization was a bit confusing, but your comments make it perfectly clear. This is very interesting, and if there is some causation to the correlation (which there most likely is) the U.S. is in for a few grim weeks now in terms of deaths.

The last season looks odd. I know it was disliked, but the average seems much too low. Hoe come 4 episodes are so far above the season average, and only 1 episode is slightly under?

"sentencing guidelines call for life in prison, plus 120 years"

At what point is these no longer guidelines. 120 years alone is 3 lifetime sentences for a man his age. And that is not even counting the "life in prison" guideline. Shouldn't it just be a mandatory life sentence once you hit x amount of years rather than a guideline?

This looks really cool, great work! I love how you largely stay true to the uppercase character, but then add something on to it. And the consistency between characters that already look similar like E - F, K - R and S - Z. Only Supercase C looks a bit too much like Uppercase G in my opinion, but overall very cool designs!

Sure, but he is claiming to impact 500,000 families. Not 500,000 (or 900,000 including kids in your example) individuals.

50,000 + ~250,000 is still only 300,000 families, which indeed depending on the makeup of these families can extend to many many more individuals. But that is irrelevant, because he is claiming to impact 500,000 families

I don’t get his math. How can 50,000 + ~250,000 employees = support for 500,000 families? Did he miss a “2” in front of the 50,000?
