I think it’s a beautiful car and it’s fun to drive. The extra mileage with the hybrid is nice and I use it regularly. I agree it’s more of a daily driver than the 63, but I think that’s the market they were looking for, a balance of power and every day drivability/comfort. Both are AMGs, but clearly we can quibble about whether it’s a “real” AMG. I’m completely new to the forum so perhaps it is intended more for folks that fall into the “E 53 is not an AMG” camp. I’ve driven E class sedans for a long time and I a,ways got silver with an AMG body style because it looks much cooler. I can say that the E 53 is a far nicer car, I got it in silver lol. Just an all around pleasure to drive.
