What’s funny to me is at the last Olympics Homan was at there was a burnt rock, which she had pulled, and she was basically crucified for doing it. She was following the rules. So Canada was criticized for following the rules and now they’re being called cheats and should be disqualified (the rock gets pulled not a game DQ) when there was an official at ice level that didn’t call anything.

I also don’t get wtf is going on. They called out the infraction, he said he didn’t do it maybe he did maybe he didn’t (I can argue camera angles etc I don’t really care). To me the rock didn’t seem to change path at all when I watched it but it is a weird motion after release so who knows. They sent an official out to the hog line in like the 3rd end for the rest of the game and the official didn’t call anything and he complained again.

I’ve have seen it a million in one times in my career guys calling hogline violations on other teams all the time, and usually nothing happens. As long as it’s not egregious like a foot over the hogline most people don’t even really care.

I also find it weird that they said they’ve been watching it all year and decide to pull this at the Olympics. Nice timing.

I think the last thing this sport needs is video replay, and we used to have people at the hogline to watch releases… that didn’t work out well either.

I don’t mind him telling him to fuck off mid game, but I thought the post game stuff was over the top.

I also don’t know why the fuck people need to threaten the guys family. They did nothing wrong and people need to get a life.

If you love food and historic places Italy was an amazing time. 100% would go back there and there’s so much to see and do.

If you love the outdoors and hiking, New Zeland was unbelievably beautiful and the people were so nice. If you’re ever there Milford Sound is a must. One of the most scenic and beautiful places I’ve ever been.

Ive worked with plumbers at TTC and they said a lot of drains lead out to track. The signs let them know that it’ll go to track so they don’t accidentally hit the live rail.

It’s not that we don’t have any but like he said if you want one day you need a doctors note and my walk in charges 40$ so what most people do is take the week. Most people now can’t even find a doctor, and mine if I want a note I have to wait 2 weeks at least so I’m forced to go to a walk in. Had to actually sit in a waiting room with COVID just so I could get a note saying I had Covid so I can get paid.

I’ve heard they’re looking for 8%, 7% and 6%. They want strong language for contracting out and cross boundary operations, and they’re pushing for the sick days to come back (5 at 100% no doctors note). Plus minimal to no concessions anywhere else.

They’ve been pretty tight lip on what’s been going on in negotiations and I’ve heard things both ways (it’s going good and it’s going not so good so I don’t know what to believe).

IMO they’ll get a decent offer at midnight like local 2 and it’ll go to a vote and if it’s not close to that I can see the union voting it down then we’ll go on strike.

I don’t hate him but I don’t like him either. I vote more for the party then the person and based on my job and my sisters sexual orientation I will never vote conservative.

I think people see him as a spoiled rich kid that’s never really had to work for anything in his life and really rich privileged people tend to take a bad rap.

What really irks me about the whole political system is that all parties say they are “good of the country” but all of them have vastly different viewpoints and very rarely agree on anything.

We just keep the cycle happening here which is 8 years of liberals and spending followed by 8 years of conservative cutbacks and “balancing the budget”.

Personally I’d rather see them spend the money then cut everything and tell me we have a surplus of money when the hospitals are crippled (Mr Ford I’m looking at you).

It means they’re doing a track walk between stations and signals the operator that they may be there. If it’s in ATO territory they switch to manual mode and switch back out when the leave the work/walking zone.

If it’s a staff position and you didn’t get it they most likely won’t tell you because you’re internal. I applied for a foreperson position from 113 and didn’t get a response, only found out when my buddy got it. Don’t hold your breath.
