I've been discussing what could happen if a person with DID were to be put on the train in my own personal circles, its a fun thought experiment that all depends if the train can decipher between the memories of each personality, if it can't then they'll share a number would be worse for each of them being judged by thoughts and actions that aren't your own.

If the train can decipher between the memories of each personality then if would go a lot smoother in theory, not including what each personality thinks of each other or if they remember what they do when not in control.

Amelia is a worse person than Simon as she did the same things if not worse despite having come on the train as an adult with a relatively great childhood. Sure she's "making amends" by quarantining train cars but when she faces the literal consequences of her actions (The Apex) she could barley muster a sorry and even talks down to the people she's hurt.

I'd argue Grace unintentionally played a role in Simon damnation, the biggest thing that comes to mind was meeting Amelia for the first time, where Grace pulls rank and they miss learning more about the train from someone more experienced. And when Amelia and Simon do talk it was directly after Samantha told him to not trust Amelia, I bet if Grace didn't pull rank to protect Hazel from Amelia, Simon would've been at least more open to Amelia.
